Hello everyone :)

Theme this month is Love (Valentines Day is coming!) so pick your favorites out and share them with your partners.

Images are to be stamped on quarter sheets (A2 card front size) of white, vanilla or cream card stock in black ink, embossed if you want but NOT required. The goal is clean crisp stamped images! Please be sure the entire image is stamped crisply no gaps or edges missing!

One image per piece unless small then 2 is fine so that they do NOT have to be cut out real close to use but can be squared off to layer if the receiver so chooses.

You will make your partner 12 images total 4 each of 3 different stamps. This allows your partner some to play with and also use for a swap if they wish to.

Please include the maker of the stamps - either written lightly on the back with pencil or on an additional sheet of paper you include. This way if we really like it we know where to head to shop! LOL

Swap will be international so we can get a good variety here - card stock is not too heavy so postage shouldn't be an issue here.

Remember swap unto others as you wish to be swapped to! Only send something you would want to get in return and going the extra mile to make it nice is truly appreciated!

All swappers must be rated and no flakers or non senders will be allowed to play. If you are a newbie and wish to participate contact me and I will be happy to set up a private swap with you to get you a rating, once it is completed feel free to then sign up for this or any others that I am hostessing.

I'm a newbie can you tell me what I need to do?

By "quarter sheets," do you mean an 8.5 x 11 paper folded into quarters? what's an A2 card front?

Rose827 12/26/2008 #

That's what she means. :)

yes everyone the A2 size is an standard sheet of paper 8 1/2" x 11" and you fold it in half and then in half the other way to get 4 quarters to stamp on.

Also I know we have some newbies joining us and I have in the swap guidelines about ratings BUT some of them I have talked to and already have the images done and others I know from past swapping and I am allowing them to join us.

If you have any problems please let me know!

One question: Should the images be pictures only, or do we include love related sentiments/verses?

Adrenalina 01/ 6/2009 #

can you let me know the size of the stamps? I didn't know what is the avg. size

In other words, I'm picturing cutting a regular paper sized sheet of cardstock into 4 equal pieces so that my partner(s) can glue the stamped 1/4 sized sheet to a card of their choice. Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

Hello fellow rubberstampers! I love these kinds of swaps! Thank you kcfroglady for coordinating it!

Also, did you know there is a group just for rubberstamping? It is called Rubber Stamp Island. There are several image swaps there as well, so if you are looking for winter images or collage type images, and have a few of your own to swap, you might want to check it out.

Adrenalina - verses are fine also. As indicated if you have smaller stamps you can put more than one on a quarter sheet but I would say no more than 2 so that it could be cut and matted for a card front.

User6937 Yes you have it right!

Starwatcher - thank you for joining in. I do know about the group however I don't like to limit my swap to group members only. I prefer to use SwapBot and not limit myself to partners that way.

Also by Paper I mean Card Stock so I have edited the swap to reflect that.

Thanks everyone!
