It's been a long time since I posted our last glue book page swap here...and it's time to get back into the swing of things! For this glue book page, let's aim for a general theme of "winter"...snowflakes, snowmen, cardinals...it's your choice! There are LOTS of images available on Pinterest, Graphics Fairy, and so forth. Let's make this either 4x6 or 5x7, whichever your swap partner prefers. Please leave a comment on the swap page (as you’ve been doing)...if there’s no preference listed, then it’s sender’s choice. Use card stock or an old file folder for your base, and use only flat embellishments (images, paint, stenciling, rubber stamping, etc.) to decorate your glue book page. Have fun with this project! Remember that a glue book page is strictly created with flat stuffs...paper, stencils, paints, rubber stamping...nothing dimensional. YouTube has a plethora of great videos on this technique, and (to my mind) the Queen of Glue Books is an artist named Margarete Miller. Her work is available for viewing in all the usual places (Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) | |
