IRPC means international random postcard
In this swap, you will be assigned one partner.
Take a random NEW and STORE-BOUGHT postcard, write the:
• date of writing, • swap name, • highlights of your week and • your swap-bot username on the LEFT half of the postcard
On the RIGHT half of the postcard,
• write the address of your assigned partner, • paste the appropriate denomination stamp for airmail to their country
If the postcard reaches you, you must rate a 5.
For the heart, the recipient just needs to enjoy the interaction/message. You know, your partner shared their week with you. It's nice to hear from someone. ♥
NOT REQUIRED FOR A HEART:
• looking at the assigned partner's profile • choosing the postcard, etc. according to their preferences • Philatelic stamps (normal definitive stamps at your local post office will be just as acceptable), washi, stickers etc.
Of course, it's nice, and feel free to, if you want to. But don't fret if you don't have such items.
If you tend to be picky/specific when rating your partner(s) and giving hearts, you may not join. I will vet before assigning partners.
The window for receiving the postcard is 4 months.
You MUST re-rate your partner with a 5 AND a heart if they resend and the postcard reaches you before 6 months from the 'Send By' date. After that, it's up to you.
However, if you can let it go and not rate your partner if you don't receive, that's okay, too. No worries! Snail mail IS unpredictable. Keep that in mind.
In the event that a postcard doesn't make it, and the receiver is threatening a low rating, an email with your week highlights will suffice for reconsidering the rating.
