To participate in this swap you only need the free Sims 4 base game, a computer to run it, a bit of free time and internet access :) I love to create families and houses, but I always find it more fun to play with what others have created.
So for this swap we create either a sims household or a lot for our partner, creators choice which (but you can do both if you want!).

Before the swap:

Everyone writes into the comments if you'd like 1, 2, 3 or 4 sims plus a prompt (e.g. "elderly couple", "wearing mainly green") created for your household. And which theme you'd like for a lot (e.g. "desert home for 4 sims", "playground"). Request only something possible with base game.

When partners are assigned:

create either a household or lot for your partner (or both).

Rules for creating:

• if you create a household: look at your partner's comment and create the exact number of sims they said.
• if you create a lot: check which category fits your partner's request (e.g. to "desert home for 4 sims" fits "residential", if several fit, you can choose).
• Try to stick to the prompt/theme your assigned partner gave as much as possible, otherwise it's your choice.
• Use only(!) what's available in base game (you can filter both in CAS and Build Mode for that). When you're finished with your creation, add a small text to your creation (e.g. "Sim A's favorite color is green that's why their aspiration is to be a free lance botanist....").
• Upload it to the Sims 4 gallery and send your partner a gallery link or your gallery name to find the creation.

Optional:

• You can allow packs in your comment and add something optional (e.g. "cats and dogs pack allowed and one of the Sims may be a dog". The creator can then use these packs, but doesn't have to.).
• You can create both the lot and the household not just one of those.
• Before uploading you may play with the family or lot if you for example want to add skills or career.
• Cheats to unlock clothes, add skills, unlock debug items, place items freely and so on are allowed. So for example the move objects cheat is allowed - but please play test so the items remain usable!
