Hi. I love to craft. Most any medium will do. Do a 5 minute craft when I first get up to get the juices flowing, then go to my craft room after I get the kids on the bus to work on my junk journal and write a bit. In the afternoon I take some time to just go crazy and let loose. Pick whatever catches my fancy and run with it. Kind of obsessed with small right now: inchies, tags, post cards, mini canvases, etc. Love fabric, hand sewing. Give me a glue gun and I'm a happy girl. Excited to meet new folks, learn new things, and have fun!!!!

I love receiving and sending mail. I think getting a surprise anything is fun to find in the post box and I LOVE SURPRISES!!!!

Pen pals are amazing aren't they. Just by sending a short note someone can learn so much about you and you can learn so much about them.

Favorite music: the Beatles those Fab Four make my heart sing. Also love the Roller my Stones, Lenard Cohen, the Velvet Underground, the Pogues, the Greatful Dead, Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Howeling Wolf, Kieth Richards, I could go on and on 😀

Favorite Books: East of Eden is definitely on the top of the list, just read "the universe has your back" liked it- made me think, most anything by Marianne Williamson, love biographies, historical dramas, oh the Alienist- that was a good book,

I love The Godfather- I know it's violent and I hate violence and I know it glorifies illegal behavior but I like it I just do, Singing in the Rain- the choreography is incredible, I love documentaries-learning about something new- exploring new worlds and cultures-it's incredible,

Just started "the man in the high castle" which is pretty interesting, loved "family ties" as a kid, "comedians in cars having coffee", "carpool karaoke", "mercy street", I like historical mini series, funny funny things,

Collage is a love- has been since I was little, acrylic painting- I like using different types of things to paint on anything is a canvas to me, just getting back into water colors and loving it.

I like to make things in smaller sizes. Inchies, postcards, tags, I grab business cards in offices so I can funk them up, right now I'm playing with collage with paint over it then more collage then cut it up to be 3x2 rectangles for use as tags- in other projects- the possibilities are endless Photography is a major passion- I majored in it in college, I like to combine my photographs with another medium- I think it gives it depth and a new perspective I just got into junk journaling. I'm finding it very meditative, the process of repurposing a book and putting a new spin on it- I work on it every day and little by little by little it is getting there.

Moved all around and traveled a bunch and I try and take those experiences with me in my heart. Try to incorporate them into my crafting. I have fibromyalgia so that slows me down a bit but I am far from down and out. I love boldness, I love to try, I may fail again and again but as long as I keep on trying life has meaning. Sunsets melt me, drives in the country with the windows down smelling the grass and trees, hiking in the woods realizing how small I am in this great universe. Watching my kids play, watching them light up, being there for them when they need me-always there for them. I am me, strive to be the best me that I can be. I craft out of love, out of the love of the journey not knowing what the end will look like. I just like to make things- pretty simple at that.
As for pen palling I'm a fan! Love getting mail, love giving it. I love words, the way they sound, the way they look on a page. Meeting new people, getting to know them through the written word is much more personal so much more lovely. I'm up for anything so get in touch
