I'm a stay at home mum of a wild and wonderful 4 yr old girl. I have spent the last year Beating Breast Cancer back with a Big Stick. So far so good! I am an artist, a traveler, a crafter, and an all around nutcase. Life is Fun!

I've just found Swap-bot (YAY)

My daughter loves mail! which is why I have joined. She already has a healthy notion of giving and receiving and I hope to continually foster her generosity. She loves to help make things and get's a big kick out of posting things, probably as much as she get's out of receiving a package.

I may be a nutcase but I'm certainly not a flake. I will always send an Item or message my partner if we run into unforeseen circumstances. Please message me if you have not received an item and I will do my best to correct it.

I Love anything Handmade! I'm rubbish at knitting and crochet so I've put that medium on the backburner to learn later...Much Later! I Love painting, patchwork, and felt, wood and clay and beading...Did I mention I love it all?!

My preferences would be more in the crafting department and items that are appropriate to children.
We're not fans of plastic or store bought toys but books are a big favorite around here! As a Canadian living in Spain...English kids books are a little difficult to come by!

We love Pink...girly...sometimes glitzy...sometimes glam...sometimes shabby and sometimes chic! Mermaids and nautical (daddy works on a boat) Fairies and pixies Again - (my website gives a pretty good showing of our tastes)

If I'm swapping for me-- I'm a bit more quirky, (ok...alot more quirky) prefer sea colours and less cute! I like Unique! I like to see that you have put real heart into your items.

The wish list:

Fabric scraps: love charm squares and fat quarters but will be happy with any size!)

Inkjet printable fabric sheets (cannot buy here)

Ribbon: of any kind! (patterned, printed, rikrak)

Buttons Button Buttons (did I mention Buttons)

Beads...any kind

Recipe Cards (those basic index cards are really hard to find here!!!)

ATC sleeves: Again really hard to find!

any decorative scrap book papers (even those paint color cards in the solid colors..fantastic!)

Stamps and color stamp pads rubber blocks for making stamps

Chalk board pens (no dust..what!!? where do you get those?!?!)

Candy, (my sweet tooth just typed that!) sadly chocolate would puddle before it reaches me!

For the wee one:

Stickers, anything Disney, beading (the kids kind) and that plastic necklace string -- (she's always running out!) pretty envies and stationary

Hmmm...don't have many dislikes, except as I've already said, plastic cheap toys.

We're also not a video game family (I consider it divorce in a box) But I'm not likely to join any swaps to that effect so reckon you're safe.

Ohhhhh...and that Kawaii stuff...(although the word means 'cute' it's the kindof cute I just don't like)

Also not a fan of animal stuff or sports related stuff.
