Update: I am only able to get onto SB a couple times a week right now since we are in the middle of field work etc. Also I am only able to get the mail once a week as I only go to town on Tuesdays. Thanks for understanding.

Hi all,

I enjoy crafting and making art in my down time. Currently I am making handmade postcards and creating intuitive masterboards. I love hand carved stamps. I am working on some with varying degrees of success.

I am looking for motivation and a challenge to try new things.

I am married 29 years and we have two kiddos, both are on their own. We have a dog and a cat who keep us company.

I enjoy writing letters be it one off or an ongoing friendship..

I enjoy reading and always have a book on hand. We don't have a television although I do have Netflix DVD subscription that I enjoy. I like foreign films best, Jewish, Eastern European. I can't really stream much out here as our internet is slow and limited.

I love our library.

I am all over with books. I love mysteries, suspense, a good novel. I read a lot of memoirs set during WWII.

I like a variety of music, mainly listen to public radio. I also like the university station that plays Indie and local artists for when I want music. I am a supporting member of both.

If I had to pick music genres I would chose alternative, indie and folk.

Podcasts are another love.

I splurged on an Instax camera and have fun using it.

I love gardening.

I also work at a small antique and craft store once a month as I have a booth there. I really enjoy visiting with customers along with selling some of the things I thrift, up-cycle or don't have need for.

I do like snails, mailboxes, postal related, goats, cats, offbeat. Nudity, sarcasm, irony welcomed. If it is weird I will most likely like it. I am not afraid of political so feel free to send it to me.

I love black and white...in photos, postcards, artwork.

I enjoy journaling of all sorts. I am not the most consistent but try to do something daily.

I don't collect much these days as I am striving to minimize my possessions but I do like a few small things.

I love my vintage typewriter and use it often.

My favorite painting is "Lady with an Ermine". She is my Mona Lisa. I was graced with the opportunity to see this painting in person and it is amazing. Anything with this painting on it (or spoofs of it!!) are very much welcomed!

I love all colors. Pink is probably my favorite, I seem to have a lot of it.

My favorite magazine is Flow.
