About Me

Hi I’m Dan. My pronouns are he/him, I’m 40 years old, and I live in California, USA. I listen to a bunch of podcasts about a wide variety of topics, and occasionally I record some of my own with family and friends. I enjoy reading, gadgets, photography, and creating crafts with my laser cutter. I’ve decided to get back into letter writing because I also collect fountain pens and want to put them to good use. I also enjoy film, television, theatre, and the serial comma.

You may notice I don’t have specific likes/dislikes listed for common swap items. I’m mostly interested in what other people find cool enough to share so I don’t want to limit things by getting too specific here. Rest assured if you put in the effort then I’ll appreciate it!

I should also mention that my wife Michelle teams up with me on many swaps. She's a great help in finding the right items to match people's profiles and when artwork is needed she is super talented.

Favorite Books

I love independent comics and graphic novels, particularly autobiographical material like the work of Lucy Knisley. I also enjoy some more mainstream titles like Hawkeye and X-Men. Comment: Oh my gosh, I finally got it! I can't believe how long it took to get here! Well, I can believe it. Mainly because it has a lot to do with the big postmaster for the states. Which is postmaster DeJoy. He was told by Trump to have the mail slowed down & each post office has to comply. But now Trump denies saying it! What a liar! We seen what he wrote, OMG! Anyway, I was elated to finally get your book & I do love love Nora Roberts books! I can't believe I forgot to add that to my genre. But I did it now. I have read a lot of her books & this one I haven't read yet, but for sure will. So thank you a lot! I hope to get to be partner's with you again sometime, even if it takes a long time to get here, ha! But see you haven't joined again. Well, I wish you a Happy New Year to you !
Response: I was so thrilled when the tracking info finally updated this week, and even more excited to learn I picked something great for you!

Mega Profile Quote #1

“When one chooses to walk the Way of the Mandalore, you are both hunter and pray. How can one be a coward if one chooses this way of life? Have you ever removed your helmet? Has it ever been removed by others? This is the Way.” —The Armorer, The Mandalorian
