Hi there, I have just read your profile as I am one of your partners in the read and comment on your partners profile' swap.
I wish there were more people like you in the world. Honest and genuine.
I like the little saying about smiles too :]
I had a quick look at the website you had for letterboxing, and from what I see it's a lot like geocaching isn't it. I used to do geocaching and it was so much fun. We used a gps to locate the caches.
Hello, I'm one of your partners in the 'read and comment on your partners profile' swap, this is my first swap so I hope this is ok.
It was really nice to read through your profile, I like the fact that you list your husbands likes incase someone finds it difficult to find something from your list. I have lots of freebies sent to me and my hubby sometimes gets a bit jealous at the amount of goodies I get, so that's a lovely thing to share with your husband!
I love all the different butterflies in your headings, I need to learn how to jazz up my profile a bit!
We don't seem to have too much in common, you seem very artistic and although I make cards and scrapbook I wouldn't class myself as very artistic, more able to work with the things that I buy! Although I like looking at paintings I don't have any favourite artists, once my boys have grown up I do hope to be able to go to more gallerys and learn a bit more about art!
We do seem to have a few musical likes that are similar, I really like Matchbox 20, however they are not very big here in the UK, also Tracy Chapman is very talented, but not many people in the UK are aware of who she is!
I hope we can be involved in another swap in the future! Rebecca Xx
Hello! First, I LOVE that you have a section on your profile for people who have sent you awesome swaps!
Second, I love what you do for a living. My favorite job ever was the two summers I worked at a summer camp for physically and mentally disabled adults. I don't think there's a more noble calling.
Third, LETTERBOXING! I love letterboxing. I geocache too but something about the stamps for letterboxing makes me so happy.
Hello Denise, My name is Pam and I am one of your partners for Read my profile and leave a nice comment 2. I am from Louisiana, and love TN. We have been to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area about 5 times. We just visited that area last month as a gift from our children. This was our first trip as empty nesters it was fun but different. You are from a beautiful state. I can understand you liking waterfalls, they are beautiful, I love to go places just to see them. And the quilting, I am trying to learn to quilt, I have always wanted to learn, so I am starting on one. And I can understand it taking so long to finish, I do swedish weaving and at first I could not put it down, but I have been working on a blanket for my sister for about 3 years and am about 3/4's done. Hope to finish soon though. Well I enjoyed reading your profile and can agree with you alot. I am sure working with special needs adults must be wonderful. And I absoultly love your paragraph about the smile...so true. May God Bless you and you husband with a wonderful 10th anniversary next month.
Hi Denise- I'm one of your partners for the read my profile swap. I've got to say I wish everyone on swapbot is as conscientious and caring as you are about swaps. I was feeling a bit bitter about my swaps I've received lately, so thank you for reminding me there are people on here who aren't all about "how little effort I can put out there, and how much can I get back". I love it when stuff serendipitously happens like that- thanks for brightening my day! Liz
It actually was NOT me that sent you the postcard! My "name" is the same on Swap-bot, atlasquest and postcrossing! Thanks for the well wishes! And who knows, maybe we will get paired on a swap.
Have a wonderful day!
Hi Denise! I came across your profile because we are in the Your Best Cemetery Snap Swap together. I thought I recognized your swap-bot name....I'm a letterboxer also! So many fun hobbies to become addicted to!! Anyways, I just thought I would say hi.
Hello, Thank you for the comment on my profile. You are the first person I have met that loves milk glass just like me!!! That is awesome!!! I hope you enjoy the swap that I'm hosting it is my first. Happy Swapping!!!
Your profile is so interesting! I wouldn't have guessed your nickname meaning without the explanation, but once you explain, it's so clever! It's nice that you are so detailed in your profile - that really helps when you want to send something to someone. I hadn't thought of putting dislikes in a profile, but it makes so much sense! I'm going to have to update mine now!
Yes, Tango does have alot of "twins" out there. He is such a likeable fellow too, is your Ginger that way? Thanks so much for the nice words on my profile! ;)
