Update: May 30th, 2012 - I have found a sick love for kawaii teeth things. I have had it for a while but it's starting to take over. SO CUTE. ; o ;

August 9th, 2011 - Today I was folding some of my origami memos for the first time. They are so cute and fun! I would love more origami memos to fold if you have any to part with when it comes to our swaps! I think I might even start buying origami memo pads so I can start sharing the cute! :)

I am a crafty 20-some year old with an obsession with cute stuff. I spend a lot of time with in class, with my nose in a book, and online procrastinating. I am trying to learn Japanese and failing miserably (though I keep passing the class with a C or above). I wish to share some of my free time in the form of crafts and kawaii swaps with people like you! I promise to mail things out on time! I know what it is like to wait for things to come in the mail and sometimes it is just unbearable (specifically when you buy some cute things from another country). I enjoy walking around my University's campus, when a time break allows. The only things that ever seem to stay organized in my room are my bookshelves of manga and the other of kawaii things. I do not have fancy channels on my TV (just NBC, FOX, CBS, etc.) but when I do get to watch one with more channels, I love the Disney Channel. My favorite colors are basically just pastel colors. Pastel colors aren't so strong- they are very soft and light. I like that very much. I do like all colors though, even neon. I have found that many kawaii brands make neon or close to neon colored items that I adore! My favorite kawaii characters are: Miki, Little Twin Stars, Rilakkuma (and his compadres), Friendly Ghost (from Crux, my very favorite), Teeth, Sabo Kappa, and many others (some of these are repeated below in the kawaii section). I am not picky about my kawaii- I just really dislike fake Hello Kitty/Rilakkuma/etc. Items don't have to be brand but they cannot be fake (unless an actually good quality). I am really into fairy kei style, lolita, and gyaru. I do not really wear any of them. I love halloween and halloween decorations- I wish to have a glitter skeleton in my room! c:

I love almost everything from a kawaii brand! The few things I dislike are the kawaii items that have real children and real animals on them. Those are just a little too creepy, in my opinion. Some people like them, some people don't. I am one of the people who do not.

I really, really dislike fake kawaii (this does not mean I am against Korean and Chinese items). Fake Sanrio, obviously fake Hello Kitty, etc. all just looks cheap to me. I do not mind some but since most of it looks very fake and cheap, I am not a fan of it.

Sanrio, San-x, Q-lia, Kamio, Pool Cool, Crux, Cram Cream, etc. are all really good and cute brands! I really do not think the brand matters as long as it is Japanese, Kawaii-Branded.

On top of my list of kawaii there are a few brands I like as well as a few types of things I like. When it comes to Japanese make-up, I would love to try some. Candy Doll eyelashes, as well as the make-up looks too good to me! When it comes to purses and accessories, Gyaru and Lolita brands hit home. Angelic Pretty, Liz Lisa && HbG are too cute. Lastly, I love, LOVE Japanese fashion magazines- I have a small collection which consists of Gal mags. I haven't bought any in a long while but I would love to get one in a larger swap if anyone lives near a bookstore that may carry them! I would die happy with a new issue of Pop Sister or Nuts.

I really love fairy kei jewelry and accessories! I make a lot of them myself and I am really into creepy cute! I love skulls, bats, spiders, and other such things. c:

These are just my likes. I am not asking for someone to go off and buy me an Angelic Pretty ring or necklace, it just shows my personality and what I think is cute. Do not feel wrongly about this section. I am just expressing how I feel about these things and how much I love them all. :D
