I am a wife to a GREAT guy and mother of two teenaged girls. My parents moved in with us this past summer and it has been a blessing. We have two dogs, Rowdy and Rascal. My family is the center of my life.

My love of quilting parallels my love of shopping for all the goodies that go with it. I have a massive stash of fabrics, books, notions etc. I love making the tops, not proficient at the quilting so I leave that to the pros!

I enjoy block swaps very much though I am a Newbie to Swap-Bot. I love to see other people's creativity and I love the challenge of bringing all of the blocks together into one great quilt.

I love all kinds of music, being born in the 60's, I guess I like an ecclectic mix. As for movies and tv, my husband and I take turns when we go out. He likes Blockbusters, I like "Chick Flicks". Some of my favorites...Somethings Gotta Give, It's Complicated, Bridget Jones Diary, Billy Elliot, Almost Famous...but I like Indies and Foreign Films...Sexy Beast. TV: I definitely like HBO Signature Series like Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, Big Love, The Tudors, In Treatment, okay some of these are on other cable channels...BUT I typically get these through Netflix and watch them as "movies" I don't usually watch tv on a regularly. I watch/listen while I'm sewing. Same goes for books on disc...but that's a whole other topic....Pillars of the Earth, Darling Jim, The Shack. I could go on and on...
