I'm a stay at home mom to 2 toddlers (1.5 and 3). It can be hard to write about myself being so wrapped up in having young kids right now, but I will try.
I find peace in nature. Before kids I liked to hike and forest bathe. I can stare into a koi pond for hours and it's a dream of mine to create a koi pond oasis in my backyard. I took my husband on an Amazon river cruise for our honeymoon and it was the trip of a lifetime!
I grew up without cable and have never really gotten into television save for very few shows. Doctor Who (Doctors 9-11), Supernatural, and Ancient Aliens in the most ironic way possible. Reality competition shows are my compromise with my TV obsessed husband.
I'm new to swap-bot, but not swapping. I've been on PostCrossing on and off for 8 years, and have done a number of knitting swaps through Ravelry.
If you wanted to include a treat for my kids, here are some things they like;
I love podcasts and learning! These favorites should tell you a lot about what I like;
If you don't know what to write tell me about your most joyful memory, or the most amazing place you've been! Tell me what your favorite thing to drink is or write about a current craft project. If you have kids tell me about some cute or funny things they've said and done. I also deeply enjoy any creativity you're willing to share if you're into drawing, calligraphy, collage, poetry, or anything really!
Some favorite postcard theme ideas;
I passionately dislike the beach, and probably wouldn't enjoy any beach themed stuff.
! ALLERGIES ! - Peanuts, tree nuts (almond, cashew), and eggs. My son is allergic and we try to keep our house free of these. Please check any lotions, soaps, etc. for almond oil, as itβs a common ingredient and my son can break out on contact if I use them. Allergy exception made for individually packaged tea bags as I can easily hide and enjoy these after he goes to bed. :)
