Hi! I'm a wife, and a SAHM, homeschooling my 3 dks in a relaxed way :-) I love to sew and sell totes, aprons and children's clothes.

I love everything vintage!!!! I shop at thrift stores and used bookstores for myself and would be happy to receive vintage goodness in a swap :)

We live in northern Michigan, surrounded by water and beauty. We love to watch birds and the wildlife that wander through our yard.

Autumn is my favorite time of year- colorful leaves falling, making homemade bread and the crisp apples at the local orchard. Everything about this season is perfection!

I like to read genre fiction- mysteries, mostly. I love Anne Perry, haven't read the last 3 or 4 in her Monk and Pitt series or any of her WWI series at all!!

I like political NF and how-to craft books.

I have a collection of vintage cookbooks, I especially LOVE Farm Journal cookbooks.

I enjoy reading old housekeeping pamphlets (like the promotionals for vacuum cleaners or Sunbeam mixers), they are like a tiny glimpse into the idealized world of homekeepers who have gone before ;)

I like the scent of vanilla and 'Linen' or 'Cotton' scented candles and such. But, I don't care for most strongly perfumed things.

All colors of the rainbow make me happy, but I have a particular fondness for all shades of green.

As a confirmed organized wanna-be, all manner of papers for listmaking or calendar keeping make me giddy!

I'd prefer items that are rated PG or family friendly :) No goth or anime, please :)

Please note: My dd has severe nut allergies. At first, I wasn't going to put that on my page, but have found that she is usually standing over my shoulder when I open my swaps. So, please, don't send anything that contains peanuts or tree nuts.

I love chocolate sweets, though, so if you're so inclined to send a goodie, feel free! Items with the warning: May contain nuts, are safe to send, as she will not be eating them....just I will! Sorry if this is confusing! Please pm me if you need more explanation, or ignore completely if the whole allergy thing stresses you out :-D

I like tea (especially Earl Grey) and love coffee, but prefer regular roasts, not flavored.

Kali~ my oldest, 12 years old and loves all girly things! Her favorite color is yellow. She has a 4yo Jack Russell Terrier, named Jubal. She loves notebooks, cards, etc. that have pictures of a JRT on them :) She's a typical big sister and loves to mother her younger siblings and cousins. See allergy note above. Safe treats are Skittles and PLAIN Hershey Chocolate Bars.

Jackson~ my middle, 10 years old. He is a Star Wars fanatic!!! Collector of Pokemon cards and Poke anything. He has a real generous and giving nature.

Clinton~ my youngest, 6 years old. He is following in big brother's footsteps and likes Star Wars, too. He also likes sports, even as a baby, he watched any game on tv that involved a ball being thrown around! He just lost his first tooth and is proud to be a member of the tooth fairy club ;-)
