As yard sale season is finally upon us, Victoria and I are searching and interviewing potential princes for Kat's princesses. We will find a sturdy specimen worthy of their hand. Like a magpie, I have been feathering your package with little bits and pieces to inspire and enjoy. I hope life is treating you well. Much love, Laura

Spring in Korea - azaleas in every shade of pink, crimson, lavender, fuchsia - bright strands of forsythia draped over every wall - the vivid green and silver of young leaves - violets smiling shyly in the new grass, inconspicuous next to their sunbonnetted cousins, the bold dandelions - and the sky a serene blue above it all, with a few clouds drifting past the background hills...

Stopped by to say hello, and discovered that I needed to bring chicken soup. Feel better, soon!

The Bard is miserably ill with Influenza B. Thankfully the fever and chills broke this morning around 11 and she is clearheaded but weak as a new kitten at the moment. Alas, university midterms are next week and she badly needs to recover fast so that she can give her kids some review and practice before the exams!

Hello my Dear, Our weather has been one storm after another this past week. Lots of rain and wind. We have had some incredible sunny days also. Trees are blooming, when my plum tree in the back yard blooms it tiny white blossoms look like snow. So we are definately in Spring mode here. All my best to you my friend. Linda

Hi Judith, I also have the first items together :) And guess what, the colours are bronce :) O I have not decided on a theme yet, but have something in mind...... and colour themed might add to it, so thanks for the hint. Next friday I am going to Bulgaria for a couple of days and be assured, if there are any thriftstores, I will browse them. LOL.

Mud season here, with all still dormant and frozen except the hardy day lilies that are poking their pointy green noses out of the hard dirt. Assorted songbirds are returning one by one--I have seen robins. The river in front of my house is swollen and fast, like a rippling conveyor belt to Lake Champlain. Soon we will hear spring peepers, like sleigh bells in the night.

Judith, so happy that the parcel arrived so quickly! My father makes Native American beadwork, and also traditional jewelry, with mostly glass and gemstone beads. Every couple of years, he will make some "just for the fun of it" childrens sets. He made a few at Christmas time for my youngest to share with her friends. We were sure your princess would love them. Any yes, I had a feeling she would scamper off with the pouch too! As for the small book of poems, I ran across that at the antique store in my small town. I thought of you immediately. Hugs and smiles, Kathleen.
