Hello all,
My name is Millie and I am back on Swapbot after a bit of a break after having my little boy in December 2020.
A bit about me, I guess: I currently work as a nursery nurse so spend all day running around after babies and toddlers. It's definitely exhausting but I love it. I love animals and have lots of pets so anything animal or pet related is always a winner in my eyes. I love to read and write and get inspired by nature. I'm really excited to start swapping again and look forward to swapping with some of you soon.
Big lover of most genres of music. I am happy to listen to recommended bands or artists as I love finding new music.
My favourite book is George Orwell Nineteen Eighty-Four. I also love A Clockwork Orange. Day to day though, I tend to read murder/mystery Fiction books the most. I love a good psychological thriller too.
I'm currently re reading my entire collection of The Chronicles of Narnia as I haven't read them since I was much much younger and I used to love them.
I love horror films the most. October is the best time of year for me as its when all the horror films come on TV and in shops again. Like books, I love psychological thrillers and films that make chills run down your spine.
That being said I do enjoy comedies and action films too.
The Studio Ghibli films also fill me with great joy. I am trying to watch all of them. (I've only watched about 9 at the moment, however)
I don't really watch a great deal of TV anymore but I like a lot of comedy programs. I do also like watching the True Crime kind of programs.
My favourite crafts are paper crafts mostly.
I love to make things for my journals and scrapbooks. I also really enjoy making postcards and drawing. I'm attempting to learn how to crochet and have dabbled in cross stitching.
Any scrapbook type of craft is definitely my passion though.
I am pretty relaxed about whatever you would like to send but in case you're stuck here are a couple of specific things I like;
-My favourite colours are Purple and Green. -Anything that has a rainbow theme -Anything sea related (especially Whales) -Anything space related -Anything flower/floral related -Any kind of stickers -Washi of any kind -Any kind of postcard (including religious, handmade etc) -Recipes to try out -Any kind of item from different countries that I can't find here in England. -Tea! (Any kind) -Journal cards or words -Ephemera of any kind

Hello Millie! I love journaling too. It's such a great way to relax and for me, it's a good stress-reliever. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season! :)
Newbie Friendly - Profile Hello #17 Hello Millie, I also take great pleasure in watching horror movies but not gore or very bloody ones. Just a solid proper psychological thriller that will make me sleep with the lights on. I enjoyed paranormal activity series a lot. And the other kind of movies I like are the ones that cherish life. The kind of movies that when it ends, you feel better, sunnier, more positive, your faith in humanity is restored and you are glad that you are alive:) Enjoy life! -Bahar
