Hi! my name is Theresa and I currently live in Florida. Being a military brat and spouse I have moved every three years or so of my entire life. Before coming to Florida I spent about 14 years in Japan. I taught ESL craft classes while I was living in Japan. Although I'm retired now I used to be a magazine editor for the Air Force. When I'm not at home crafting, I'd like to be out on my pontoon boat on the river, or playing with my grandchildren. I've been married for 36 years and I have two kids, a boy and a girl, who are both married with children of their own. They've given me six grandkids and one great grandchild! I can't believe I'm a great grandmother! I've been swapping ATC on other sites for about a year now and have a pretty decent collection going. I've learned a lot of various techniques through these swaps and I can't wait to start swapping with you all!

Things I like:

anything with an Asian theme.

the colors purple, turquoise, blue, green.

Anything with a Peace sign or a Buddha, anything Zen

I collect seaglass. I have jars and jars of it!

Decorating magazines, crafting magazines, etc. I love to read and wouldn't mind receiving any kind of article cut out of a magazine that you find interesting.

I have two cats. I've had cats all my life and I love anything cat related.

I like to scrapbook and am currently a consultant for CTMH.

I love to do origami. I've folded 1,000 cranes { called senbazuru} for my mother when she was ill and have also contributed origami cranes at the Children's Peace Monument in Hiroshima, Japan. Sometimes I go around town and just hand out to cranes to people as they go by with a message of peace attached.

I'm into painting rocks and love the whole kindness project thing of hiding them and leaving it up to the universe for the right person to find it.

I mostly like music from the 60s and 70s. Sitting on the dock of the bay by Otis Redding is my absolute favorite song. When I'm in the car I like to play the album 'low Spark of high heeled boys' by traffic. Of course who doesn't love the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the who. Like most people my age, we think we cranked out the best music during that time. But I do love to listen to the radio and enjoy Bruno Mars and Adele plus any quirky little pop song that goes viral .

I love hunting for Peace Poles! There are literally thousands of them all over the world with the words ' May peace prevail on earth ' in multiple languages on each side of the Pole. I'll bet you've seen one and looked right past it! Next time you see one, please stop and say a silent prayer for peace on earth. And if you want to take a picture and send it to me I'll be your forever friend.
