Looking for VINTAGE HALLOWEEN or VINTAGE CHRISTMAS themed paper goods. My name is Missy. I am a wedding photographer. I started penpalling in February, 2020, and have found it a great way to make new friends. It's also been a fresh new way to fuel my creative side.
I just turned 50 and live in Illinois with my husband and 2 children. I grew up in northern Wisconsin and it is truly one of the prettiest places I have ever been (imo) :)

Favorite bug - luna moth

Favorite animal - Orangutan, ducks, whales, jellyfish, and polled herefords

Favorite flower - Dahlia and Peony

Favorite color - blue, olive, peony, and mustard

I tend to gravitate towards a lot of different styles, but nature and everyday life either vintage or not, makes me happy. I really like anything watercolor, clean and modern, torn and vintage, quality stickers are cool, and I LOVE sending postage stamps. One of my favorite parts of sending a letter is choosing the stamp to put on it.

Walking out to the mailbox to find a pretty letter in it is the best. Anyone else bummed when it's a national holiday and there's no mail?

• Vintage (1960 or older) handwritten letters and envelopes

• Vintage Ephemera of botanicals, bugs, animals, fish, and marine life.

• beautiful, vintage stickers (2 inches and larger)

• Modern, comtemporary art stickers, papers, and stamps.

• UNUSED USA postage stamps (the older, the better)

• Pretty, vintage, or cool address labels

• Homemade papers

• Heartfelt letters and notes.

• Unusual or rare items I like - Polled hereford cattle (they have the white face and red body)

I am very punctual and I always try to send my swaps out early, before the deadline. If someone doesn't receive one of my swaps within 3 weeks after the deadline date, please let me know right away, before rating me for the swap. I will gladly send out a replacement. I used to say 2 weeks, but the mail has been sporadic lately.

• 4x6, or larger, colorful envelopes. Particularly looking for black or blue.

• Quality writing utensils (what's your favorite pen to write your letters?)

I LOVE all teas and my tastes change throughout the year. Fresh, new tea bags only please. My favorite right now is black tea. My least favorite is chamomile. I don't drink old tea and will toss it.

Currently collecting Pokemon cards for my son, so if you have any laying around.... even one is great.
