My hubby & I have been married over 30years and are parents of three unique children who are adults now. all three offspring have officially flown the nest

We adopted several four legged friends over the years. We are currently ruled by Leo, a cat who "followed" my son home over 14 years ago and Lassie, a spoiled mutt (Lhapso/Maltese/Poodle) who joined our home in October 2013

I will rate immediately when I receive a package and will always Mail on or before the due date.

I retired in 2014 but picked up a part time job as a travel consultant to keep me busy. In my spare time, love to eat, sleep, travel, cook, sew, quilt, and crochet.

I love sewing, I own three sewing machines. I like to crochet and cross stitch but arthritis has slowed me down. I like to bake....but I hate cleaning the kitchen.

Food I love... Chocolate, coffee, peppermint, are a few of my favorite things. I love black coffee but also enjoy foo-foo coffees

I love anything travel related, post cards, coins, magnets, pens and pads of paper (like the ones from hotels), shot glasses, and random small rocks from strange places

I enjoy listening to music from the 70's. some people call the music the oldies. I also enjoy some classical music. I definitely do not like opera or rap and can barely tolerate country music.

Give me a good murder mystery and I can read for hours. John Grisholm, Linda Fairstein, Johnathon Kellerman, Faye Kellerman, Tami Hoag are among my favorites. For a great laugh Janet Evanovich is by far my favorite author. I especially enjoy her Stephanie Plum series.

Normally I don't watch movies - too much sitting in dark places when I could be actively doing something productive. I do enjoy a good comedy or. Crime/drama.

My TV viewing preferences are quite ecclectic. I enjoy almost any of the CSI, Law and Order type shows. I don't know why but I do not like CSI New York - probably the actors. I love Downton Abbey, Doc Martin and Big Bang Theory. I get a good laugh from the courtroom shows but now there are way too many on. I do not like watching any of the soaps. On Public TV I enjoy cooking & sewing shows.

Sewing, crocheting, (I cannot knit), quilting, reading, cooking & baking (although I hate to clean up). I also love Zen Doodling and meditative coloring books/pages.

I have tried many different kinds of tea but I have never found one that I like. I don't like any candy that mixes fruits with chocolate.
