Christmas 2014

I would like to wish all my friends and swap partners a very Merry and peaceful Christmas. I hope you and your family experience God's love at this time.

OCTOBER 2014 The year has flown by with a few major events in my life. Thankfully ones I can celebrate and embrace.....Both my hubby and I turned 50 over the last few months and have been blessed with great news. My eldest daughter has become engaged and we are now planning weddings and my youngest daughter is going to make me a Nana and my hubby and I are taking my father to Canada and Alaska next year..... So far turning 50 has meant some big life changes.....look out 51.......

TRAVELLING FOR TWO WEEKS

Hi all, I will be overseas for 2 weeks from the 21st September. All my swaps that are due have been posted. Any swaps I get while I am away I will rate on my return. I am looking forward to collecting lots of postcards and any other tid bits I can use in my crafting. Will miss my crafting and my mail but will have plenty to open on my return. Take care all. Life can be cool calm and collected one moment and then the next it is hectic and a tad stressful. These last few weeks has seem my daughter diagnosed with a heart condition, (not life threatening if treated well but none the less worrying, She also just broke up with her boyfriend of 4 years, my precious puppy operated on for bladder stones, my youngest daughter booked in for an operation at the end of August, our cat needed to be de-sexed a second time because she had a second set of reproductive organs which meant she was still coming on heat. Big breath....... My husbands job is in jeopardy, 'this week end marks 5 years since we lost our precious son, and 4 days later we celebrate my mum's first birthday since she passed away 8 month ago. So to say the least my life has been rather busy and emotional and still is. I have also fallen a little behind in some swaps and hate it when that happens. I love swapping and I love my craft and joined for the fun and pleasure it brings. I am hoping if you are one of my partners and your card is a few days late you will understand. Please know all swaps will be sent. God Bless

We have faced the hardest part of the day opening presents that my mum had bought for us and we for her. Many tears were shed and I know there will be many more. We are together as a family and keeping both my mum and my son close in our hearts. I know they are celebrating in God's loving grace.

SADDENED

November 2012....... My dearest and precious mum passed away on the 12/11/12. I am trying very hard to complete and honour the time restrictions for all swaps I have committed to but am hoping for your compassion and understanding if any of my swaps are a little late. I will definatley be making and posting ALL swaps so if you are my partner please know your cards are coming. I will message anyone personally if your cards are sent late so you know they are on their way.

I am a mother of 5 wonderful children. 4 girls and one boy. They are all beginning to make new lives for themselves and become the independent kids we hoped they would be. We live on acreage in the foot of the Blue Mountains in Sydney Australia. My family is my life. My parents have just moved into a granny flat which we built on our property. They are both not well so close is a good place for them to be. I love the out doors. We love camping, boating, and picnics. I have a passion, care and love for animals. We have two dogss, two rabbits and chickens. We also have a hand raised Australian King Parrot that is spoilt to death. He lives inside and rules the house. I am a primary school teacher at a Catholic Primary School. I love learning from the kids and wonder sometimes who is teaching who. I have been through some tough experiences in my life which has strengthened both my faith and my heart. I beleive in kindness, honesty and compassion and believe in calmer. I have the most amazing man in my life that has tought me unconditional love.

I love lots of different types of crafts. I knit and crotchet. I do tapestry and cross stitch. Scrapbooking, card making and am now addicted to ATC cards. Pretty much jack of all crafts. I am no artist unless you ask my class who thinks my stick figures are amazing. I give attention to detail and try to create work I am proud of.

I am totally and utterly obsessed with Winnie the Pooh and gang. I collect porcelene figurines mostly. I have a beautiful display in my home and it is growing. I also love anything Disney. Photography is also something I like to dabble in. Especially birds, animals and nature. My walls are covered in pics I have taken. I also have a comprehensive stamp collection that has been passed down to me. It goes back three generations so I am madly trying to keep it going and add to it. I have recently started a pin collection. Disney related pins, cartoon but also country, and fund raising awareness pins. I am interested to swap with others.

ATC supplies.....If possible I would love two of each as I always make one card to send and one for my collection.

I've collected postcards all my life, starting from when I was a kid and my dad used to send them to us when he travelled for work.

I am a Disney Freak so I am trying to collect as many Disney postcards as I can. Especially Winnie the pooh and friends and the classic characters. I like: * I'd love fun cards or cartoon cards * photography especially animals, landscapes and flowers/plants ( NATURE IN GENERAL)

I have an extremely extensive collection of world stamps. I have collected a number of deceased estate lots which has given me some extremely old stamps to which I have many swaps. If you are interested in old stamps please contact me.

I am currently needing more current stamps from countries around the world. I have a large collection of American so would prefer not to receive those.

Disney, Cartoon, Nursery or character stamps are a focus at the moment as I am collecting and putting together an Album for my Granddaughter. I am hoping to pass the passion on to her.
