I have enjoyed being involved in various swaps through different groups on Instagram. Although I love them, I have a few times, sent my swap and not received anything in return so it's nice to see a swap site where a person is held accountable!

I love vintage!

Although I enjoy summer A LOT, my favorite time of year is the fall. The colors and smells and the sweater weather just speak to me. It's my absolute favorite time of year to walk in the forest and to be outside. One of my other favourite things is to cozy inside on a cold winter day with a good book and a great cup of coffee.

I am a mom of two boys who keep me very busy. I love doing crafty things with them and we spend a lot of time outdoors together. I volunteer as often as I can but not a lot lately since I’ve gone back to work. I have about 20 penpals, many of whom I've been writing to for almost 2 years when I got back into letter writing. I've made some very excellent friends in faraway places. It's one of my biggest pleasures, to open my mailbox and see a letter for me, and to take the time to send a thoughtful, creative letter back.

Music is a love of mine! I can't play any instruments, but I listen to it ALL the time and may or may not sing at the top of my lungs when alone in the car. ;) I love all genres from Frank Sinatra to The Tragically Hip. My newest favorite artist is a young Norwegian girl named Aurora. Love her ethereal voice and amazing lyrics!

Historical novels!! Not romances but stories set in a period of history. I am drawn to stories set during WWII and I love British and Scottish history of way back in the days of kings and clans. I also enjoy a good mystery and many other genres as long as they are well written and grab me from the start. Some favorite authors are, Lucinda Riley, Kate Morton, Diana Gabaldon etc.....

I'll be honest....I like to think I can make anything I put my mind to. Which has lead me in many cases (and much to my husbands chagrin) to buy endless supplies for things that really would be cheaper to just purchase than make on my own. But where is the fun in that! :) I love paper so my craft room has large amount of scrapbook pads, stickers, used postage stamps, stamps, pens, stationery sets, vintage nature books (that I use to make my own envelopes and embellish things) and washi tape! I also embroider when I have the time and sew little projects here and there. I do have quite a collection of fabric, new and vintage.

Chocolate (with peanut butter is pretty awesome too), Tea, Coffee, Birds, Butterflies, Plants/flowers, Foxes, Teal, Pink, Grey, Blue, Green, Vintage, Postage stamps, Fine tip felt pens, Washi, Pretty stationery (bought or homemade), Stickers, Stamps, Photography, Scrapbook paper, Books, Camping, Nature, British TV/movies, Baking, Reading, Thrifting.

Please do not send me religious, Halloween, Christmas or any holiday themed stuff. No scented items or lotions. No Disney or cartoony things.
