my family's from NE Ohio, and I live in Florida. what a coincidence! I've spent a fair amount of time up there in Erie, Ashtabula, Mentor and all around that little corner of the state. I've only been to Cincinnati once.

Clearwater is overrated. I'd suggest Venice or perhaps the East coast instead: Pompano Beach, Hollywood, Margate. the eastern oceanside cities down here are absolutely fantastic. I live a little more north, but the first chance I get I'm going down to Pompano.

I hate hate hate Hemingway haha. when I was in college I wrote a final paper about how the best thing he did was shoot himself in the head and I got tops marks somehow. if you like sci-fi you might enjoy the Deathlands series by James Axler. [though I only like the very earliest part of the series.] also House of Leaves by Danielewski, if you haven't read it yet.

Invader Zim! I have the whole series on DVD. :]

Hello swap-bot friend! So, I see you like Hemingway! Have you ever been to Key West, Florida? If not, here's a link to the Ernest Hemingway home and Museum.

It is stunning! One of my favorite things about Key West! Well, that and Key lime pie! lol

My music tastes are very similar to yours, right now I'm listening to "Train" alot. I love Patrick Monahan, he's my age (41) and such a dream boat! :) Well since you like Tropical themes take a look at my profile. Near the bottom are pictures of our city, Stuart. The downtown area of our city is beautifully landscaped and so colorful. I could spend hours walking around window shopping.

I also love to crochet but since I am arthritic I can only crochet for a little while then hae to stop. But I just bought some really neat vintage crochet books off of ebay that I can't wait to try! I just love funky, fuzzy yarn! Clearwater is a great place to visit! I also love Orlando and Miami. So much to see! Well it was great getting to "know" you a little through your profile. I hope today and all of your tommorrows are the happiest ever! Kind regards, Lori. (Shabbypink123) Please rate me! Thanks!

Hi Teri! I love your list of favorite books and authors. I think reading broadly in sf/ fantasy is great exercise for the mind... and entertainment too, of course. I've been bored with realistic fiction for the last few years leaning more and more intto sci fi/ fantasy and supernatural fiction. It might be fun to trade books or a list of recommendations sometime! I loved Phantom Tollbooth, LoTR, and Good Omens, too.

I think gardening is cool. The next time I have a place that is enough my own to allow it, I want to grow some herbs. Bye for now! Emily Read My Profile and Leave a Nice Comment #2"

Hiya! This is 'READ MY PROFILE' SWAP.! I collect postcards as well :) I started collecting them in 2001 when I went on a trip to France and bought 6 postcards, I have been hooked since! I love the idea of seeing the world so cheaply. I only recently discovered the Soundtracks to Twilight, and I am in love <3 the music is just wonderful. I listen to is more than anything at the moment. Well I'm not sure what else to say...

Have a nice day! Sarah

I was just reading your profile and found it very interesting. What struck me 1st was the you live in Cincinnati, Ohio. My husband and I just visited Cincinnati in Oct. and loved it there. I have to admit that we spent most of our time in Spring Grove which may sound a little strange but the monuments and plants there was beautiful.......that place is huge. I am so jealous that you are learning to spin. It is something I have always wanted to try but no one to teach me.Good luck with the classes and enjoyed reading your profile.

Thanks for your comment, I am looking forward to your next card! I also love that we both like the George R.R. Martin stuff ... if I was more talented with mail art, I would love to do a Song of Fire & Ice swap. Maybe someday :).
