Hello! My name is Sharon, I've been married for 21 years and am the mom of 3...two young adults and one teenager. Born and raised in Florida..I haven’t traveled to very many places, so I love hearing about where you live! I have a few kitties...I just adore cats and all animals. I love taking pics and gardening. Watching the birds and squirrels playing in my yard..Sitting on the porch with a hot drink or cold sweet tea and someone to chat with is one of the greatest things in life! Especially when I have the birds, dragonflies, butterflies, and other wildlife all around me. I have big beautiful Southern Live Oak trees surrounding my home, with a view of the Indian River which is a block away. I feel so blessed to have all this nature around me. I'm definitely an animal and nature lover. I love being out in the sunshine and fresh air. Although I do enjoy a good Florida summer afternoon thunderstorm. I am very spiritual in nature but not religious. I respect all beliefs and walks of life..I feel like we are all here to help each other through life, and make life a bit easier and happier for others.
I really get into and enjoy all the holidays...my favorite is Easter! Spring is my favorite season. But Halloween and Fall are also my favorite time! I love Christmas but I don’t love cold weather...at all! Good thing I’m a Floridian where cold weather doesn’t show up too much lol!
I love any and all history, I will read anything historical! I also love to read about paranormal and the metaphysical. Also love magazines, any food or home decorating mostly..
I am really into history, floral design, home decorating, cooking, baking, being out in nature, gardening, bird watching, photography, stargazing, and learning about other people and cultures. I hope to travel to Europe some day.
I believe in natural and alternative healing...healing with plants, energy healing, crystals...
I also love jewelry, especially vintage or vintage style. Boho, artisan, handmade. Love dangle earrings...bracelets, rings. Also I am starting to collect brooches. Also jewelry made from crystals for healing. I have lots of different crystals but alI also collect other things found in nature like cool rocks and shells. I also collect coffee mugs, though I have favorites I alternate what mugs I use depending on the season and holiday. And I love love love to drink coffee!
I love handmade mug rugs and potholders..
Anything related to native Americans. Two of my great grandmothers were both Native American, (Seminole and Cherokee) and I am very interested in anything and everything relating to that.
Anything from the 1982 World’s fair in Knoxville Tennessee. We went there when I was 9 years old. Every summer my family would go to the Smoky and Blue Ridge mountains. I have so many happy memories of that! It helps me feel connected to my daddy who passed in 2007, he loved the smokies. So if you live in that area, anything, even a tourist map, I’d love!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE history! If you have a cool story about the history of your area I'd love to hear it!
Anything with dragonflies

Earrings and crystals made into earrings
Antique and vintage
Needlepoint kits to work on (I want to learn!)
Bath and Body Works small hand sanitizers
Anything that has to do with history
Wax melts or tealights especially linen, cotton, and clean scents, but I enjoy pretty much any except rose for some reason
Ornaments (especially gingerbread)

Handmade and unique jewelry
Anything to do with trains

Anything to do with space, the stars, universe, sun, moon
I really love everything! It's fun to get to know people and I love getting something that someone else enjoys with a story behind it....I love to connect with people.
If you live in a place where anything historical is or a good story please share!!! I'd love any type of little newspaper clipping or tourist map, anything from your area you’d like to share!
I really don't dislike much, i don't like gory stuff, I also don't like rose scented candles. I'd prefer nothing overly religious or political..but I do enjoy receiving things that other people love or have a passion for, it is a way to connect to someone so don't be afraid of sending me something you love....I will be thankful and grateful. I don’t need planner stickers and I prefer no teacher stickers. I also don’t need scraps of paper because I don’t really have use for them! I’m not all that crafty lol.
I love any type of postcards, especially vintage or vintage reproductions! I also love tourist postcards from places you have visited or live. I'm happy with ANY though! I keep ALL of them and from time to time will go back and read them again.
I sometimes will frame postcards and hang above my writing desk.
I also collect postcards that were used and postmarked early 1900s up to 1980s. Love these and I put them in albums.
Any postcards from The Smoky or Blue Ridge Mountains
Boston or Salem Massachusetts postcards
Trees (especially pine trees)
Any other postcard you’d like to send me!
I always rate the day I receive a swap in the mail! Also, if you haven’t received a swap I’ve sent within a reasonable amount of time please contact me. 🥰
