Hello! My name is Heidi and I am a 40-something single mom to a teenaged son. We have a cat and live in Phoenix Arizona. I have always loved writing letters, making mail art (cards, pocket letters, little gifts suitable for mailing), and anything to do with stationary. I also participate in Postcrossing and enjoy decorating, writing on, and mailing out postcards to people just because. At the beginning of every month I send out birthday postcards to my creative friends and volunteers that I support at my work. I enjoy mixed media art journaling and collage art and periodically go through phases of that. I write in a journal everyday and usually always have some kind of activity book going that I can play in. I collect used postage stamps and have a special notebook that I arrange them in by topics (favorite postage stamp topics are: artists, cultural heritage, nature, animals, public service recognition). I collect the used postage stamps from the mail I receive so bonus points if you use fun postage stamps on anything you mail to me!

Postcards: For blank postcards for me to use in Postcrossing & swaps I prefer Arizona or Maine for locations or pretty artwork. I don't use travel postcards from other locations. For postcards sent to me with writing on the back - anything goes! :)

Stationary: I like matching letter & envelope sets; notecard & envelope sets; mail/writing themed stickers & washi; any wax seals are cool; fun "please deliver to" mailing labels; basically anything I can use in my swaps.

Book Interests: fiction: fantasy/sci fi and historical; nonfiction: self-help, spiritual, parenting, personal development

TV & Movie Interests: fantasy/sci-fi, irreverent comedies, historical dramas

Music Interests: Grew up on classic rock and blues and will always love those genres but now a days I find myself listening more to classical, lo-fi, and ambient music

Misc Interests: Dark humor, irreverent humor, meditation and mindfulness practices, neo-paganism/Wiccan; bright colors & patterns, textures, handmade anything, learning about others in letters - places you've lived, career history, hobbies, quirky bits, whatever you feel like sharing in your letter - I enjoy reading it all!
