I am a teacher of 24 years. This year I'm teaching 7th grade Science. I'm working on my specialist degree and hoping to get a position as a media specialist soon.

I have been doing some sort of craft for what seems like my whole life. Both of my grandmas were sewers and crocheters. Thankfully I paid attention.

I love anything home-made or hand-made- whether it is quilted, crocheted, sewed, and embroidered.

I love to bake and decorate my kitchen with TEXAS stuff and roosters (especially blue ones)

Signs with cute sayings and bright colors.

Favorite Collectibles- country angels, Atlanta Braves baseball stuff and Turtles (chocolate or any other kind LOL), jewelry, pretty picture frames,

Colors- * Home- hunter green, navy blue, beige * Otherwise- bright and colorful, brown or black with (pink, turquoise, blue, lime, etc)

Have 2 precious dogs- wire-haired dachshund and a chihauhau mix 1 aggravating kitty 1 noisy cockatiel 1 super sweet lizard

Love my grandkids- always making stuff for them!!! ages 4 to 11.

I haven't tried ATCs even though I have done some scrapbooking and cardmaking. I would love to receive some though.

Thrift Store loves- I shop Thrift stores to find suede and leather material (women's skirts), men's BDUs, and vintage baking and serving dishes. No mugs or coffee cups, please. Vintage tea cup and pitchers are fine though. Also- chenille bed spreads, nice sheets (to make girly dresses)

I absolutely love FABRICS!! All kinds any color! I've been using a lot of flannels and children's material lately but anything will do.
