Hi Vickyen! I am one of your partners from the "Say something nice :D on my profile" swap. I really enjoyed reading your profile. Seems we have a few things in common...I love to scrapbook and I love to do ATCs as well. And I am about to get the empty nest syndrom. In fact I think it is hitting me already. Darn kids, who told them they could grow up anyways?! I am new here to swap-bot, in fact this is my second swap. I love to meet new people and make friends as well. I want to say it is very nice to meet you and I hope you have a wonderful day... everyday. Enjoy and happy creating!

Hi Vicky! Just wanted to let you know that the ATC back that I used for the Punch Art ATC was downloaded. It was a free printable download off of a blog called alteredstuff.blogspot.com. Just go there and in the search, put in atc backs and it should be the first one that pops up.

HEY, WHAT ARE YOU READING? Electronic Swap book I have just finished reading Curse of the Narrows by Laura M. MacDonald. It is a factual book told similar to a diary of The Halifax Explosion Γ’β‚¬β€œ the biggest, man-made, accidental explosion to have ever happened in the world. The book describes the explosion from days and moments before to the seconds, minutes, hours and days afterwards. Incredible lessons learned came from the explosion including the moment of birth for pediatric surgery. A terrific story from cover to cover and comes highly recommended.

I have two sons too, of course, mine aren't grown up. I can't imagine how lonely I'd be if they were grown up and gone. I always insist my kids are respectful and very polite and I love hearing them laugh. I love reading too; I have a Kindle I adore so no more books in boxes or giving away or selling them!

Love your profile.....i can only imagine what it was like when your child left home. I am terrified of that day, my three kids are my world and i don't know what i would do without them in my life. I love that you dislike drama as much as i do, i am on you tube and someone had the nerve to dislike two of my videos. I have NO IDEA what i could have done or said to offend them. I just like meeting new people and swapping items and giving items to people. I am glad to have gotten a partner who crafts and uses crafts as a way to escape...i would love to see your work sometime. Hope you have a great day and just know, life is precious and every second counts. call your son everyday if that makes you feel better!

Hello! I am one of your partners from the Read my Profile and post a comment swap.

I also have two sons.... and 4 grandchildren that keep me busy.

I love all kinds of crafting and really like making ATC's. I've made a few but never felt comfortable trading them... yet. I'm not sure of all the requirements and would really hate to let anyone down. The big thing is what is an acceptable thickness for the card. Any suggestions for this ATC newbie?

Hi Vicky! This is Ozias commenting for the "Read my profile swap." Your son left back to college? You know, I will be attending college this year, I got accepted to CU - Boulder in Boulder, Colorado. I think I might be homesick, but I'll be posting a blog so my family can keep track of me. Maybe your son might be interested in posting a blog, it's a great way for your family to feel in the know on what you're doing.
