I use the speed ball cutting tools & the pink "eraser" medium. I use a firm, steady hand & take away the strips of medium in millimeter thin sections. I do that over and over until it's completely removed to my satisfaction. I don't know why yours is crumbly. I've never had that happen before. I would get another eraser and try again. Maybe it was old and dried out. =D I would love to do a swap with you. Give me a theme & I can carve you some stamps. :) I would love to have 2 of the conjoined twins cameos to make into a pair of earrings. If you have 2 of them. Then I could make a few different stamps for you in whatever theme you desire. :)
I have it from when I took anatomy in college. Lots of pics for you to lable yourself for practice. I knew it would come in handy for something :) This is the exact one. I know I didn't pay $69.99! though.
