National Panda Day Profile Swap

One of the most distinctive of the panda vocalizations is the “bleat.” This sounds similar to the sound a lamb or a goat kid would make, and it’s a friendly sound, a greeting. Pandas don't roar the way you think of a brown bear roaring. Other vocalizations include honks, huffs, barks, and growls. Young cubs are known to croak and squeal.

At only 3 to 5 ounces (85 to 142 grams), a newborn panda is about 800 times smaller than its mother.

Oh, I forgot the fun fact about pandas! Their pupils are different from an average bear's - they're more like domesticated cat eyes!
