I chose the Monarch butterfly of North America. After years of suffering steady declines in its numbers, researchers at the Mexican National Commission of Protected Natural Areas and the World Wildlife Fund said they observed a 225% increase from 2015 to 2016 in common habitat areas. Planting milkweed at schools, highways and other urban environments can help the monarch population rebound to the goal of 225 million Monarchs established for 2020. (http://www.cnn.com/2016/02/27/)
Thank you for the angeled swap, which I believe was two days late. I did not have the opportunity to finish this swap on time, and I apologise for any inconvenience. I'm sorry that it is considered "flaking" when these things occur, as it is not in my nature to do so, but real life must always take precedence. I had a family emergency and simply could not get online--please read my profile for details. Emergencies happen, they cannot be planned for, and I certainly hope everyone understands.
