I am married and have two "older" kids, and by that I mean my nest is empty! :) We have two shih-tzus. I am a professional writer, working on two books and doing freelance work as well. I love the color pink, unicorns, mermaids and anything girly. I drink tea, not coffee, and truly enjoy the simple things in life. And most of all .... I am the biggest Chicago Cubs fan you will ever meet! I have a lot of allergies but nothing life threatening and nothing that comes into play with swapping.

My music interests are varied. Most of all I like 80's music and current pop music. I also enjoy country, especially Blake Shelton who I have seen in concert twice! I tend to get more into the words than the melody. Either way, music really helps me relax!

I love to read! As a writer, I find that reading motivates and fuels me! It also helps me relax. I love to read books that have been turned into movies. Most recently I finished reading Mudbound. It was so so good. I love the Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum series and have read them all. I enjoy a good classic now and then. Over Christmas I read the Diary of Anne Frank (again!). It's truly a moving piece of literature.

Oh my gosh! I love watching movies, funny and serious, but not so much action or fantasy. Favorites of mine include Grease, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Spaceballs, Shallow Hal, Shawshank Redemption, Saving Private Ryan, Notting Hill, Titanic and Dumb and Dumber.

Okay, let me 'fess up. I watch way too much TV! Current favorites include This is Us, Grey's Anatomy, America's Next Top Model, Catfish, American Idol, The Voice, 90-Day Fiance, Sister Wives, Superstore, Good Girls, AP Bio, The Walking Dead, The Chi, Dancing with the Stars, Portlandia, Brooklyn 99, The Price is Right, The Young and the Restless and Match Game.

This is EASY! I LOVE papercrafting. I have been crafting since I was young enough to hold a glue stick and not actually eat it! :) When I was a teen, my grandma did craft shows and I helped her. It was "Bead Art by Bettie." Those were some good times, and I learned so much! I have been papercrafting for about 20 years, starting with scrapbooking then moving on to cards, trading cards, inchies and tags. I have recently been doing pocket letters and memory dex cards. I have swapped more than 130 pocket letters on Facebook and other sites. Mostly I am a craft supply collector so if you'd like to swap with me and help me unload some of this stuff, I'd really appreciate it!
