I am in my fifties, been married almost 30 years and a mother of five. My children ages are 27, 25, 23, 21, and 20. I have three girls and two boys. I am an ex teacher and have done the college thing. Right now I stock shelves overnight. I grew up in Michigan and live in Wisconsin. I am a Christian and have played organ and accompanied choir for the last 30 years. We have two cats. I am a reluctant Packer fan, partially because tickets are so expensive I can't ever hope to watch them live. I love the Brewers and our local Timber Rattlers(the minor league for the Brewers.)

I like easy listening and still find songs I like in today's pop. My favorite radio station is an Oldies Station though I like mix stations and can handle some of my children's taste though they range from country to heavy metal. I also like classical and church musicians like Bach, Pachelbel and Getty.

I just inherited the Harry Potter books from my late father. They have to be my favorite books right now. I generally like people stories, g-rated love stories, biographies or autobiographies and historical novels. I read more when I was a kid, but read avidly when I am on vacation and look for series to devour. Recently I read the Percy Jackson series. I like Little Women, Taylor Caldwell and Gone with the Wind. I read my son's school copy of Fahrenheit 451 and enjoyed that.

I love crafts and I am always learning a new one. The one I am learning now is quilting. I love sewing, cross stitching, plastic canvas, crocheting, (I have attempted knitting, but got snagged, will try again), beading, scrap booking, card making, mosaics and I can't list them all. Any questions, just ask.

I love movies and I have too many favorites. I like most of the musicals, White Christmas, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma, Singing in the Rain, Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, etc. Some of the newer ones like High School Musical, Hair, Grease, Footloose, Wicked are good. I like romantic comedies like While You Were Sleeping, Sleepless in Seattle, The Proposal and others. I like Sherlock Holmes and The Sorcerer's Apprentice and action movies. I watch a lot Super hero movies because of my husband and I like some them as well.

Right now we do not get TV service so I do not know the new shows. I did like Law and Order, the cooking and history networks, Disney Channel, Nick at Nite, and several game shows. I like watching football and baseball, not bowling, golf, wrestling or basketball so much. I like watching the Olympics.

I love flowers, especially daisies. I love anything Christian or inspirational. I love bling and sparkle, ribbons, buttons, and brads of all kinds. I love chocolate, white, milk and dark. I am very nutty. I like almost all kinds of nuts except coconut. I do not like coffee, sorry, but I love most teas. I love coupons and shopping. I like puzzles, sudoku, and card games. I like board games, too.

I love purple the best, but like yellow and red, too. Really, I like all colors, because I think of greens and blues and they please me, too. I adore pink and orange can be fun. See what I mean. Just because I didn't mentioned it doesn't me I won't like it.

Swap-bot Friends

Aug 1, 2013 will be my last swap for awhile. I hope it will be just the month of August as we are moving as we lost our house. I also have a vacation planned to help my mother and sister canned tomatoes and maybe peaches this year. I will miss you. I will faithfully finish the swaps I am in. Hope to be back in September! :)
