hello...

Hi there! This is my first time back on Swap-Bot since December 2008. I took a one year leave because of some life changes. I have learned from my past mistakes & have promised myself and fellow swappers that, for now, I will not join a swap unless I have it completed before I sign up. Thanks for your understanding. Swap-Bot has been nothing but a blessing to me and I am very grateful for this community of women.

To pay back more good than bad that I put out, I am going to angel 2 times the amount of disappointment I caused. I will post here the swaps that I have angeled:

Comment: Thank you for a really nice cool stuff envie! I really enjoyed the postcard with the Rorschach art (very skeletal, mm), and the postcards were tasty! I'm looking forward to using those stickers, and I really liked the zine book of quotes. What is the font you used (the handwritten style)? I loved it; must have it! (P.S. Thanks for the Motherwell stamp; he's fantastic!)

Response: you are welcome! i am glad you liked the postcards and stickers. all of the quotes in the zine were handwritten by me. it is my favorite way to illustrate. i am glad you like the stamp to :)

Comment: What a lot of stuff for a little envie! I enjoyed reading the zine (you have such an interesting handwriting!) and the stickers are beautiful. I love the vintage postcards. I haven't had a chance to read the poem yet that you sent, but I am going to take it to the library with me tonight so that when I need a "brain break" from studying, I can read the poem. Will update later and tell you what I think :)

Comment: I hate to give 3s or 1s, but I feel swap hosts checking out dearguppy's ratings to determine her reliability should know all the details. Most of her other recent ratings look good, and I do believe she has made improvements in her swap reliability. For this swap, however, she marked it as sent on March 17th, which was two days past the deadline. That would have been fine, but the actual postmark on the package was March 22nd, a full week after the deadline, and no explanation was given. The contents of the package were nice and met the swap requirements, but getting the swap out on time is also a requirement.
