Update - 2 January 2022: Swapping this holiday season went wonderfully. I am excited to do more!
Update - 22 August 2020: Though this year has been weird, I'm proud of where I've come from. I made some amends on here, and I promise not to make the same mistakes.
Ratings Update - 3 June 2019: I don't frequent the site as often as I did in the past. I still love sending and receiving happy mail! The reasons for my 1 and 3 are because of mental health problems that I was having in addition to the holidays and overestimating how much I could swap. I won't make that mistake again, and I choose more carefully what I can commit to doing. I took about a year off from swapping before forgiving myself enough to try to swap again. Please forgive my past mistakes and trust that I will deliver something awesome to your mailbox!
I'm 32, she/they, bisexual, happily married, no kids, 2 cats, Anglophile, SuperWhoLockian, Trekkie, Critter, big nerd, reader, writer, d&d obsessed, and lover of all things that come through the mail. I love British things.
I live in the Sunshine State AKA Florida.
I used to work at Walt Disney World, so I have some cool stuff from them. But I really HATE Tinkerbell. Ariel and Rapunzel are my favorite Disney princesses, but Simba/Woody/Flynn are tied for my favorite characters with them. I am not Disney obsessed; however, I do enjoy it. I would welcome any Disney pins if you want to send them to me.
My favorite color switches between purple and yellow. I especially like when the two colors are together. Pink, purple, and blue together are a good combo. I like things with lots of colors, and I shy away from neutrals.
I have a cat named Melody. We named her after a character on Doctor Who. It was the name that fit her the best, not necessarily the character we like the best. I 'ship Ten and Rose, but I'm comfortable 'shipping any Doctor and Rose; however, lately I've been thinking about how nicely Twelve and River will look together.
I also have another cat named Willy(female). She came along when my younger brother moved in with my husband and me. My brother moved out, but Willy stayed with us.
In July of 2020, I started cross-stitching.
I have a soft spot for rubber duckies and pretty dice, especially d20s.
Favorite authors are Jane Austen, Isaac Marion, John Green, Joe Hill, and Stephen King.
I read a few comic books. Some of my favorites are: Chew, The Boys, Rat Queens, Locke & Key, and Invincible.
First off, I watch way too much television for my own good. These are a few of my favorites. The list keeps growing.
LOKI, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Sherlock, Psych, The Inbetweeners(UK), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Star Trek of all varieties, FaceOff, Futurama, Phineas & Ferb, Frasier, Bones, My Cat From Hell, Criminal Minds, Catfish, BuzzFeed Unsolved, What We Do In The Shadows, and Critical Role.
I am not religious, but I do celebrate certain holidays. Fall and winter holidays are my favorite.
I always celebrate Halloween with a costume party. I like anything related to Halloween, scary/creepy/cute/tacky it doesn't matter. I love it all.
I celebrate Christmas, even though I'm not religious about it. I like the giving spirit of the holiday. To me, it's about giving, kindness to others, sharing with others what they can't give themselves, and simply reminding people to think about others in the coming year. Snowmen and glittery cards are my favorite!
Valentine's Day is fun. I like all the pink and red. It's fun to think about love and all that it can do. I think of it sort of like Christmas because the holiday is about sharing love.
I also celebrate Mabon and Imbolc.
I can't think of anything more right now. I'll add more as I think of it.
I love tabletop games. A few of my favorites are Tsuro, Dixit, Lords of Waterdeep, Betrayal at the House on the Hill, and Dungeons & Dragons.
I am a Dungeon Master for a game that meets 2-3 times a month, and I play a Kobold Rogue in a monthly game that my husband DMs and a Dwarf Barbarian in a different bimonthly game he DMs. In the past, I have played a dumb elf wizard who didn't understand spell slots, a careless halfling bard, and a smuggler ghostwise-halfling swashbuckler rogue.
I like mermaids, rubber duckies, and dice. I am also interested in postcards that could be considered scandalous/risque/vulgar!
I would be totally shocked and overly excited if you included a unique rubber duckie with whatever you send me (I know that's asking a lot because they'd have to be in a box).
I am obsessed with pretty dice. I am a dice hoarder. I would love if you sent me a pretty d20, but like with the rubber ducks, I know it's a lot to ask because they are not flat.
I dislike Twilight, Spongebob Squarepants, and Tinkerbell. Those are pretty much the only things I will not like if you send it to me. While I dislike Butterflies and Hello Kitty, sometimes they can be cute but not always.
Please respect my religious beliefs, and do not push yours on me. I'm not religious, so I'd prefer not to receive anything, unless it is Pagan, Celtic, or Wiccan customs.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME SCRAPS OF PAPER
I'm not a big fan of small stickers, but I will happily pass them to the next swapper.
Other than that, if it's not my taste, I will simply send it on to another swapper.
