My FAVORITE TREE in my yard! A Grant'sys GREY BEARD... It was from my Grandmother's tree and it smells SO GREAT early Spring! I bring sprigs into the house! ;-)
Another favorite we have plenty of here is the Magnolia TREE! ;-)

I try to do whatever I can to love our world. ;-) I am lucky to live in a city (Tacoma, WA) that has a terrific recycling program that makes it really easy for everyone to recycle. The city makes a great fertilizer out of the refuse that's actually won awards. Personally, I buy most of my clothes at thrift stores, use organic-nonpolluting products whenever possible, use paper with high levels of recycled content, take measures to limit water and electric use, am a piscetarian, and support wildlife and earth friendly organizations,

Recycle too, even in crafting I luv to use recycled materials ;-) Net bags produce comes in, cardboard from cereal or cracker boxes for a project BG ;-) Lace, trim, buttons from old clothes. Or a quilt made from the clothing of a deceased loved one ;-) RECYCLE ideas are eveywhere ;-)

This is for the ADPG Earth Day swap! If you eat one vegetarian meal a week you can greatly reduce the amount of green house gases from transporting meat, transporting feed for meat animals, and have some yummy greens/veggies/fruits in the process! I am a vegetarian everyday but would challenge everyone to try one vegetarian meal a week. :D
