I'm a working mom/wife. Married for 11 years with a 6 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. Born, raised and educated in New England. Love the beach and the lake. Prefer the summer and fall to the winter and spring.

I have been crafting my whole life. Definitely got bit by the craft bug at an early age thanks to my Nannie and my mom. As a teen, I loved to make friendship bracelets (from yarn & floss), it is awesome to see them coming back around.

As an adult I have enjoyed beading and jewelry making, scrapbooking and knitting. But for the past 2 years my new love is sewing! I would still consider myself a newbie but I don't let that stop me. I like trying different projects - skirts, shirts, totes, bags, sewing with recycled t-shirts, refashions, curtains, baby blankets, taggies, bibs, etc. AFter the kids go to bed, I'm working on some kind of project.

If I don't feel like sewing, I'm working on other crafts. Been making a lot of diaper cakes and wreaths. Love to make ribbon hair bows & clips, headbands and fabric flowers. Is anyone else addicted to making hair clippies and headbands?

Always love to hear about crafts for kids. Been doing some tie-dye this summer with the kids.

I love the color blue (for everthing). For home decor, yellow is my favorite choice. I like bumble bees and moose. I am a child of the 80s and love all things 80s and 70s as well. I love classic rock & hair bands. I have a sweet tooth and love all kinds of candy. My husband swears that there isn't a candy out there that I haven't tried. :-)

As mentioned I am new to sewing. To try and keep my costs down, I LOVE hitting Thrift Stores for fabric, clothes to refashion and notions, especially zippers, button, ribbon, lace, etc.

Swapping is fun! I am very new to swapping but appreciate all the advice I've been given so far. I have met some great people and received some awesome swaps! I appreciate all feedback and if you don't receive an item from me in week or 10 days, please contact me! I'm happy to send out a new one.
