About Me

I'm a graphic design student; I love "outsider art" & cats & Vietnamese food; I live in a tiny town in Kansas. I'm a member of the Creative Mail swapping group; I just love doing art on envelopes! ~ maybe cz it's so temporary that I feel free to experiment... I also am enjoying coloring mandalas ~ I am using them to decorate my windows, in lieu of curtains.
Crafts I have done in the past include glass mosaics, bead necklaces, & collages.
I am still looking for my own drawing style...

My favorite movies include: African Queen; On the Waterfront; Whale Rider; Miracle on 34th Street; Flawless; & Saving Grace [the one about an imaginary Pope, starring Tom Conti].

I like to read young-adult novels because their stories are so often written in the first person & because they seem almost poetic in their simplicity.

The heart comes straight from my daughter who was thrilled to receive an envie all her own to collage! I adore the jewel encrusted envelope for me. I am not sure I can part with it .
