I live in the south east corner of England, in a small coastal town overlooking the Channel and occasionally France. Sadly, my husband died recently but I have two wonderful grown sons.
I love learning about other countries, cultures, history, everyday life. I love learning about people. I can't imagine being without a book to read. I enjoy gardening, good food, photography. My father started me off collecting postcards and I continue to this day.
I'm new to swap-bot but I'm a 7-year member of Postcrossing.
I'll read almost anything if it's well-written but I have two all time favourites:
The Poisonwood Bible by Barabara Kingsolver
If Nobody Speaks of Remarkable Things by Jon McGregor.
I really only have one, and that's crochet. I used to crochet quite a lot but gave up for years. Recently, having discovered amigurumi, I've started again.
Well really I like them all but if I have to be more explicit I'd say
