Hi there, My name is Dara. I've been on this planet for 23 years. I have a silly & sarcastic sense of humor, and worry way too much. I love to sew, quilt, bake and doodle cute little things in my spare time.

I currently work full time in NY as a Production Artist. I have a love for all things vintage, classic, antiques, floral and shiny. Anything that you'd find in your grandmothers home, I'd be sure to swoon over. i.e.- floral patterned things like feedsacks, shiny things like old cutlery and vanity trays, lace, doilies with some age, white porcelain vases with hand painted flowers, tiny tea cups. Bottom line, I love anything vintage! Also, I'm not a girly girl at all. I don't really like sparkles or the color pink, but something about pretty antiques makes me smile.

My look: I love to wear my old brown boots in the summer with skirts, I love flowing floral patterned scarfs, and I always have a flower in my hair. Some people call it my trademark. :) I love headbands, floral hair clips & hair accessories. just nothing with sequins, huge feathers or anything too juvenile. :)

I have been making Handmade things for years. I love to make little stuffed animals, purses, and cases mostly. I've taught myself to crochet, quilt, and make jewelry too! I love to draw as well. Art is my current profession. I'll be going back to school for more art classes soon. :)

I am a non-smoker!

[And a side note, My ears are gauged, so I cannot wear earrings, only plugs. Sorry if that is your specialty! i like necklaces and bracelets and rings though!]

Doggie: I have a 2.5 year old dachshund Named Harley. She is the cutest wiener dog you'll ever meet. She cannot use the stairs (tiny legs) so she will not be visiting my craft room any time soon. :)

I have the most wonderful boyfriend. He will be my fiancee one day, and then my husband. He has been my drawing teacher for the past 5 years, and has taught me so much. He's my best critic.

I'm a homebody and like to read and draw. :)
