I, for one, think half the experience of a paper hat is risking getting ink in your hair from the newspaper, but of course, I dressed up as my sister for Halloween one year which involved spraying my hair black. Newspaper ink is nothing compared to how the black hairspray runs and covers your face! I'd love to see a sewn hat, maybe even a fabric hat reinforced with cardboard (I keep an envelope full of dimes next to the door for when the postlady comes asking for extra postage, don't worry). Actually I would even suggest looking into making a "paper" hat out of old report covers or other plastic things. I'll have to keep thinking what other strange things could be mailed... the possibilities are endless.
