Hi everyone! I'm a rather quiet 31 year-old from Northern California. I live with my fiance and our fur-babies in a very small apartment. I love meeting people online.

I am a middle school English and English as a Second Language teacher. This may explain why I don't have kids yet :) I do love people and especially kids.

About Swapping - I tend to get lots of things going at once so I send swaps out near the start (before I have a chance to get distracted). I also rate as soon as I receive (for the same reason). PLEASE communicate with me. If you don't receive it will be because of a problem with delivery. Please let me know of any issues before leaving negative ratings so that I can solve them.

I have a REALLY hard time answering this. My music tastes change with my mood. 80s and 90s pop is almost always a safe bet though. Think stuff I should be afraid to admit (Ace of Base, New Kids on the Block, Christina Aguilera, 3 Doors Down, Eurythmics, Madona, Disturbed) - See even my short list is eclectic.

I love to read! I am always open to suggestions as I tend to stick to the same authors on my own. I mostly read fantasy and young adult literature (I often read the stuff that my middle school kids are interested in). Some ideas of things I enjoyed include Hunger Games, Harry Potter, The Divergent Trilogy, Lord of the Rings, Eragon, basically any of the popular young adult stories. I am currently reading and loving Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. I also LOVE Game of Thrones. I still need to read the last one! Another favorite book is anything by Anne Bishop. Oh and a guilty pleasure, I read the Anita Blake series and Meridith Gentry. I guess it's safe to say I love all things fantasy.

I also like fiction based on or inspired by myths. I like Mists of Avalon and anything about King Arthur or Merlin.

I almost forgot Shakespeare. I have to have some real literature in here especially since I teach English Lit :) I love ALL of Shakespeare's plays.

I am rather behind on TV as I don't have cable. I tend to get into a show and watch it all at once. I often get distracted by a new show when I run out of episodes for one. Following is a list of tv shows that I like, but I am not caught up on all of them. . .

Castle, Game of Thrones, The Vampire Diaries, Glee, The Originals, Bones, there are many more I will constantly update.

Older shows I loved (to give you a better idea of my interests): Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sea Quest DSV, HIghlander, Merlin, The Secret Circle, more as I think of them

I am mostly a paper crafter. I do scrapbooking (digital, traditional, and project life). I am beginning to play with smash books - I like the collage idea. I also enjoy making cards. I LOVE my Cricut and am always happy to trade cricut cuts so I can get cuts from cartridges I haven't yet invested in. I like pretty papers especially anything by Simple Stories, DCWV or Ideaology. I can't resist fantasy related papers. I also like packs of filler cards (project life).

I love and collect acrylic stamps. I don't have very many yet so anything goes.

I had to make this a separate section because I LOVE my Cricut. I recently purchased a Cuttlebug and love it almost as much as my Cricut. I would be happy to do Cricut cut swaps and Cuttlebug folders swaps.
