HI to everyone! I've been off the grid for 2 years, getting through things happening in life. We all understand, we are women, and know how that is. My name is, Kate. I have lived in Maryland all my life. I am married 7 years to a wonderful soldier and I am a mother of 2 great teenage boys (and also 2 very spoiled rescue dogs.) I work full time outside of the home and then when I get home I work full time as wife and mother. We are very involved with our sons. Youngest last year in school. Oldest just graduated this last school year. I love spending time with my family. Work and my family keep me very busy. I am a very organized person. But also laid back.

I love all kinds of music. I try to get out to concerts with my husband or all of us as a family a couple times a year from local and popular bands. We recently saw Darius Rucker. In the past I have seen Jason Aldean,The Clarks, George Clinton and the PFunk, the Grateful Dead, U2, KISS, Get the Led Out, Hootie & the Blowfish, Dave Matthews, Aerosmith, Keith Urban and the list can go on.

I am trying to become the avid reader again. I used to be growing up as a kid-teenager. I read all different kinds of books.

My husband and I watch TV via our DVR due to our schedules. I love watching CSI, NCIS, Notorious, Blue Bloods, Suits, Chesapeake Shores, Grimm, Dancing with the Stars, Chicago Fire, PD & Med. I love movies, almost all kinds as well.

I am getting back into more crafting too: scrap booking, cross stitch, embroidery, learning to crochet & knook. I love Pinterest online- I am a Pinterest junkie. I love to bake and cook!!

I collect decorative tack pins and patches, trinket boxes. I love chocolate (plain, with coconut, with peanut butter, with nuts, with caramel, truffles), coffee (you name the flavor), tea (herbals, green, black, oolong, red,chai), all kinds of foods (but not a junk food junkie). I like to penpal. I love things from all over- states and international. I like the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Orioles, Miami Heat, Washington Caps & Pittsburgh Penguins....I am by no means a sports fanatic or able to tell you stats. But I have 3 guys in this house and I have to cheer on teams with them. I love to throw parties. I love peacocks, art, owls, seahorses, mermaids, the beach, poppies, daisies, holidays, fashion, décor, travel, camp, candles (PartyLite and Yankee).....My favorite scents are: fresh, clean, hazelnut, coconut, lime, sandalwood, pumpkin spice, grapefruit, peach, coffee, citrus. Things I would enjoy in swaps: anything to do with anything I like, of course. Also, playing cards (cool designs or souvenir -my boys love playing cards), rubber stamps, recipes, recipe cards, yarn for crocheting, bandanas, cool socks. I hope I have covered all bases.
