1/18/2020 Sorry I have been away for so long. Lots of things I am having to deal with in my personal life and have not had time nor energy for crafting. I am trying to carve a time when I can clean up my space and get back to swapping.

My name is Ramona Adams and I live in south Mississippi. I am a 66 year old grandma who loves to play with paper, paint and scissors.

I also collect minerals, crystals, rocks and fossils and am interested in metaphysics, magick and such.

We do not have cats and we don't smoke, so my swaps should be allergy friendly.

I like all kinds of music...classic rock, willie nelson, bob dylan, coldplay, john stewart, americana, james taylor, etc...

Stevie Nicks is one of my heroes.

My favorites are romantic comedies. I like anything with Will Ferrell, Shirley McClain, Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt, Meryl Streep.

Lately, my TV faves are Netflix originals...Orange is the New Black, Bloodlines, Jessica Jones, The Leftovers, Lost Girl, under the dome, Lost

Also, on the list are Reign, Big Bang, Modern Family, NCIS, Last Man on Earth and of course the Ellen Show. :-)

Recent TV includes Twin Peaks, Midnight Texas, Shameless, True Blood, Billions, Ray Donovan, The Sopranos, Homeland.

Often I take a break to watch Days of Our Lives and Ellen.

Anything to do with paper crafts, arts and book making, wire jewelry and beading and gems and minerals.

I have a collection of old books and scrapbooks from the victorian era that I mostly use for inspiration.

When I read, I usually choose Stephen King, Dean Koontz, but have been known to read just about anything.

July, 23, 2018 Just returned from a three month RV trip. It was awesome. We went to North Dakota, Montana, Alberta and British Columbia, Yukon and Alaska...then returned through Minnesota, Wisconsin and Missouri. Visited family along the way. I've missed swapping and am looking forward to getting back in my craft room for a while.

I am 65 years young and I am a retired computer programmer/analyst. After retirement, my husband and I spent a few years traveling in our RV so I didn't do much art or swaps because of our constant state of movement.

I have three younger sisters, four daughters and two granddaughters and one grandson. We live in Mississippi now, but have spent most of my adult life in middle Tennessee.

For the last 20 years, I have owned a metaphysical store and love rocks and minerals. Since retirement, my youngest daughter has taken over the store management.

I also enjoy photography and digital art. Many years ago, I made lots of altered books and collage projects. Rubber stamps are my weakness.

I do love most photography, especially nature shots and collage art. Anything steampunk or victorian usually excites me. And I like astrological related projects.

I am an original member of swap-bot...before there were ratings. So, I have actually done more swaps than what is included in my profile count. :-) I will never flake and will always rate as soon as I receive the swap. I am adult and ethical.

9/12/2016 Please help welcome my adult daughter to swap-bot. She is beginning to make some ATC's and other craft projects. She lives at home with us so our address is the same. Her swap-bot id is: @mandyswaps Mandy does not feel well much of the time so her participation may be limited.

I love anything victorian/edwardian. Maxfield Parrish is one of my favs. I think vintage nudes and mystical images are very cool. Deep, rich colors attract me...purples, greens, browns and blues. My preference is more artsy than clean and neat. Think Tim Holtz and Michael DeMeng. I also love collage supplies, religious things (like saint cards and milagros), and interesting papers. Old letters and scrapbooks fascinate me.

My favorite rubber stamps are Character Constructions by Catherine Moore. Wish I had money to buy them all. I have a small collection of Teesha Moore stamps and a very large collection of miscellaneous art stamps. Rubber stamps are one of my favorite things, but I really do not enjoy the Stampin' Up or CTMH brands. I like unusual art stamps. I rarely make greeting cards. Recently discovered Daniel Torrente stamps from Stampotique. They are awesome! One of my new favorites is Sunny Carvalho.

I am pretty tolerant and don't really get offended by much, so it's ok to send me "adult" projects. :-)

Occasionally, I drink tea, but not every day. I don't have any special favorite drink...mostly water. .

I am pretty tolerant of most things...not easily offended and very open minded.

Flakers & Non-Raters I am most frustrated by folks who do not rate or acknowledge that they received the swap I sent. Even if you don't like what I send, please rate. It's a big part of the game and on top of that...it's the kind and considerate thing to do.

If you cannot send by the due date, please communicate with me. I read messages daily and will respond.

To me, swaps are like contracts and I promise to abide by my end. I will not flake and will rate as soon as possible after I receive the swap.

If you don't receive a swap from me or if you get one that is not right for whatever reason, please let me know. I will be happy to resend or fix things.

I try to take my letters to the post office for correct postage since most don't travel for one stamp these days. But, if you happen to get a postage due letter from me, please send me a message and I will send stamps to correct. I appreciate swappers who make sure their parcels are properly posted. Thanks!
