About Me

IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE SOMETHING FROM ME--PLEASE MESSAGE ME--THERE IS A PROBLEM! I WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO FIX IT!

Hi! My name is Christy. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and still call it home, Portland Oregon to be exact. I live in a sweet little 1892 farmhouse with my partner Aurora, the kiddo, our housemate and a Fiji mermaid! By trade I am an LMT and energy worker. I especially enjoy spending time in nature: hiking, picnicking, relaxing, exploring or any other type of outdoor adventure! Being creative is an important part of my life and I endeavor to create and craft whenever I get the chance. I love thrifting, wandering around antique stores, rewilding, classic pastimes, gardening, dark humor and the macabre. I LOVE MAIL ART!

*POSTCARDS

I like them naked! Handmade or altered are my favorites! Store bought: vintage reprints, anatomical charts, black and white, burlesque, vintage botanicals, carnival, circus, sideshow oddities, religious iconography, the risqué, ossuary photos, vintage religiosas, vintage anatomicals, tarot, phrenology, palmistry or any other divination related images. As far as content, I would love a poem, short story from your life, facts you find interesting, books or songs you would like to recommend or you think I will find interesting. Right now I really enjoy learning the names of groups of things---Example: a ROMP of otters.

Earth tones, Browns, dark red/burgundy, gold, teal and robin's egg blue. These are faves, but don't limit yourself! Sparkly, iridescent and pearlescent are much loved! Pastels are my least favorite.

*CYCLES

I enjoy all the seasons, but especially the Fall and the festivals and holidays included in those months. Dawn and twilight are my favorite times of day. Rain and Thunderstorms--The space between the thunder and the lightening! I like the edges of things---the places and spaces between them and the enticing areas where they merge together. Shadow/light, land/water, earth/sky, skin/air...

*DESIRES

If you made it or found it, I will probably love it! If it was once alive and is now dead, I will probably love it! If it was loved by another or many before me, I will probably love it! Things you might find while walking on the beach, down a forest trail, or just around your block or in your Grandmother's attic. Comment: Hi, I think the Wolfe went for a walk :p only his back legs are on the card. The rest is missing. I could see there was a Wolfe on it because of the shape that the dotted line is in. Still a fun card!
Response: Oh bummer! Sorry it arrived damaged. I'm going to email you a picture, so you can view it as intended.! Thanks for the heart!

The detailed recipe looks absolutely delicious, and I appreciate your personal recommendation for it as well as the book (I do have it but haven't yet read it. The story is a great start!). The botanical images are all fantastic. Thank you so much for taking the time to put together something truly extraordinary. ♥

Comment: The postcard section of your swap was awesome, I do love the vintage zoo pc and the fox art very much! The '2 surprises' part is a small notecard with envelope, they are cute but a bit underwhelming. Edit: There was also a sheet of beautiful glittery heart stickers, that I initially overlooked. Thank you for your warm replies and understanding!
Response: Hi Samantha! I agree and thought I sent some stickers too! Have sent you a PM in an attempt to make sure you are happy! Let's fix it! Edit: Thank you for taking the time to look and update the rating! ❤️

Just started opening SS gifts and got yours from February. It is a 7-pointed crystal that fits perfectly into my hand. What lovely energy it has. One of the lines is quite intriguing. Thanks again for this gift.
