Nothing weird being named after your Aunt. However my mom flet kind of sorry for her sister. Growing up my aunt would alway tell my mom how she will never have boys, redhead or kids with freckles. Which guess what? She got all of what she didnt want, a curse I guess. 2 boys that were redheaded and freckled. Cute I think so, guess she wasnt a fan. So since she never got the daughter she had wished for, my mom named my middle name after her Lynn.

Whenever I read the book of Ruth I think it would be so neat if I had been named for Ruth’s mother in law Naomi. She was so bitter after the death of husband and sons, she changed her name to Mara. Naomi Marie… But no, I was named for my paternal grandmother, Naomi.
