About Me

Update: 26 September 2022.

We have just moved, so if anyone gets a round robin swap of mine with the old address in Witham, please could they update it for me? We have a forward on the post for a year.

I am 59 years of age.

I work as a secretary for an insurance broker full time .

I live with my partner, Mike and a psychopathic cat called Mimi. I also have two grown up boys and three grandchildren.

I enjoy penpalling, cross stitch, knitting, reading, swimming, jigsaw puzzles.

Favorite Music

Rock n Roll, country - anything really except for Jazz

Favorite Books

Anything by Danielle Steel or any chick lit. Love Sophie Kinsella - although not ideal for commuting on the train as it makes me laugh out loud! Rebecca Shaw Jodie Picoult Debbie Macomber

At the moment am ploughing my way through the Top 100 books a list I got from the internet. why do I do this? The list is now at 81 but never seems to go down, as I keep adding books to it!

Favorite Movies

Any love story or comedy. Occasional horror providing there is not too much blood and gore - prefer psychological horror.

Also anything with Russell Brand, Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan or Julia Roberts in it

Favorite Television

Comedy programmes, old 70's sitcoms. I could watch Only Fools & Horses for ever!

I also like any programmes about houses - makeovers, moving, etc. Think I am an estate agent or interior designer at heart.

Favorite Crafts

Cross stitch (although haven't done any for a while), knitting, jigsaw puzzles (are they a craft?)

Like and Dislikes

I like anything cute and furry - teddy bears, pandas, tigers, kittens and cats, puppies (but not dogs!), hamsters, dolphins - OK I know they're not furry but still cute.

I also love anything to do with the Titanic.

I hate cooking and spiders and any creepy crawlie. I also dislike clowns - blame my dad for letting me watch Chucky when I was little!

I also dislike flavoured tea. Just give me plain old English breakfast any time!

It is 6.01 CDT. Hoping your day (Or Night) Is Fantastical!! I just had to save my dog from my husbands contraptions outside LOL She couldn't get in. LOL (he mowed and she's kinda skittish).
