Hello!

I am 26 year old girl from Finland. I love jewelry making, knitting, sewing and photographing. I like to read fantasy novels and daydream.

I just moved in a new city and began my handicrafts teacher's studies in University. I am so excited!

My favorite genre is fantasy but I read other genres too. Harry Potter books and Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy are on my all time favorites list.

I also like to read handcraft books, DIY-manuals and all kinds of handcraft magazines.

Action-, fantasy- and scifi movies are the best! I like Hayao Miyazaki's anime's and Pixar's animation movies.

My all time favorite movies are Gladiator, Inception, Lord of The Rings trilogy and Howl's Moving Castle.

And Hobbit was great too! I wan't to move in Middle-earth!

It is hard to tell about my favorite music, or artist, or band because it changes from time to time. And even if music is important to me there are some days and weeks, even months, when I don't want to listen anything.

Lately I have listened mainly Finnish alternative/rock/metal/trash/punk/? bands like STAM1NA and Mokoma.

If you like to surprise me with something here is a list of things which I like:

• Personal messages about you: you can write about your day or why you sent something for me, you don't have to write a book, couple of centences is fine and will make me happy. And I like to see your handwriting!

• I like hand drawn images, cards and 'cartoonish' illustrations. I like to see personal ways of drawing and illustrating.

• Things with Misstigri's artworks on them (postcards, memosheets, notebooks...). I love her style! http://www.misstigri.fr/

• I like owl and bird illustrations!

• Black and white and sepia colored art photography with interesting or beautiful people, places or animals. Contrasts and interesting angles create the picture.

• Beautiful and clean, recycled package materials, papers, cardboard's and candy wrappers from all around the world. I use them in handcrafts and jewelry making.

• I love chocolate! And hot chocolate too.

• Animal bones and feathers found without harming the animal. Seashells collected from the beach.

• Knitting, crocheting and handcraft magazines in Finnish, English and Swedish. (Or in any other language.. ;) )

• I have long dark brown hair and I like hair accsessories. They can be handmade or bought but no pink glittery ones or used, please. :)

• I don't drink coffee or tea, but I don't mind receiving them. I make my friends to drink them.

• In general I like black, white, grey, red, and purple colors, laces and balanced designs, carefully and beautifully crafted handcrafts.

• And if you are able to send me a oneway ticket to Middle-earth I will love you forever! ;)

Things I don't like so much:

Smell of cigarettes and strong perfumes, rude language, basic tourist cards, unclean or messy things, unreadable writing, pink glittery things and religious things...
