Response: You're making me very happy 'cause you like the silly little thing. Now I'm all wound up making sock dolls. I learned a lot making her and am ready to get busy with Christmas gifts for my little grandneices using bigger socks. Cheers! cathie (CatLinn9)

I've purchased all of her patterns, made up most of them, and they're all equally adorable. The Daschund is hilarious. Thank you for the extra nice rating! cats

Response: OH, joy! I was born in Tucson and have always been surrounded by Navajo, Hopi and Zuni art and artifacts all my life. my uncle grew up on a reservation (son of traders) and is a phenomenal artist who's always painted portraits and sculpted bronzes of the Navajo and Hopi people who are such a part of him the medicine wheel has played many roles in my life, and I once worked with a young woman who found a new way for herself when I read to to her about White Buffalo Woman and other stories from the ancients. She was barely 16 and struggling against some big demons, but her grandmother was Indian and by connecting to that heritage she was able to see herself as a strong and able young woman, loved and cherished and carried by the spirits of the wheel. Some day i want to paint my mind's eye view of the trail of tears... America lost the heart of her soul during that dark journey. I don't think i have any true native american blood, but sometimes i feel it in my veins just the same. Glad i used that card for you--it seemed just right and it was! cats

Response: Oh good! I'm so glad there was some fun in your mailbox to offset that other yucky stuff which shall remain nameless. Kno what? I'm a tech writer too. How small is this world?! When I travelled to Ottawa, it was for a software company as a tech writer. Go figure. I do believe ATCs are saving my brain (and soul?) from the evils of tech writing these days. Bet they do the same for you. Have fun w/the cat fabs, and keep on keepin' on. Cheers, cats
