OK... so you might know me for doing upcycled crafts... Here is one that has been driving me crazy!!! Do you buy bath size bars of soap? They come in those adorable little boxes... and just get tossed into recycling?! Well... no more!!! We are going to turn them into beautiful gift boxes! It's the perfect time to get ready for those little gifts for the holidays! The bath size bars of soap I'm talking about are like Lever 2000, Dial, Irish Spring, etc. They measure roughly 3¾ x 2¼ x 1½. Made of thin cardboard. Here's what you'll need to do: • Carefully disassemble the box and lay out flat. • Decorate the box with paper, brads, ribbons, any embellishment you'd like. Keeping in mind that the box will need to be refolded by the recipient. • Send this box to your partner flat. Carefully wrap so that it survives shipping. I think that says it all! If you have any questions please list them below! This swap is for swappers with a perfect rating. So 5.0 only. New swappers are welcome. You will have two partners. So postage will probably run about $2 or less. (This reminds me of the TP journals... so many beautiful designs were made with that style!) Have fun!! |
