USAPC: Learning to Draw - Flowers

I want to start off by saying, I am terrible at drawing! The good news it that with some guided practice I can get better :) Guided being the key word. Trying to draw things over and over without knowing how the item SHOULD actually be composed does not work for me.

I am so glad I found the free 31 days of Flowers series on youtube. It is done by Brittany from The House That Lars Built blog. I have watched and drawn through a few of the short videos (usually less than 4 minutes) and they have been awesome for me.

31 Day Flower Challenge

I wanted to share these with other paper crafty types who are not very confident with their drawing skills! I figured turning it into a little swap would be fun and give those interested the motivation to get drawing!

On to the swap!

• Practice drawing the flowers in the 31 Day Flower Challenge

• Give your swap partner a sample of what you have learned by creating a paper crafting item with atleast 8 of your drawn flowers decorating it. You can make 8 separate items as well. Think: ATC's, decorate your envi or an envi for your partner, make a notecard or two, a bookmark, homemade notebook, etc.

• These can be colored or uncolored. Sender's Choice.

• Mail it off to your partner with the swap info inside the envelope. Rate when you receive yours. Rate a 5 if you get a swap with 8 flower drawing.

This is not a drawing competition and is a swap designed with beginners in mind so do not rate based on the accuracy or your opinions of the drawings.

Also it isn't meant to be elaborate but of course it can be if that pleases you. The goal is to take the time to learn to draw throughout the month.

I understand people are busy so if you skip some days no big deal or if you feel like doing more then one at a time, fine with me! This is supposed to be easy breezy and fun!
