Number of swap partners:2

A "blind" swap means you get everything ready and seal your envelopes before the swap is assigned, which means you can even start choosing and wrapping your tapes now. :)

Here are the particulars:

  • 2 partners
  • A minimum of 8 different washi tape samples to each partner.
  • Please wrap your samples on a shiny surface such as a playing card or something similar so the tapes can easily be removed. (Note, if you use a "China-made" playing card, please cover it with clear packing tape first so the card design doesn't peel up when you unwrap the tape. This seems to happen with these cheaper playing cards.)
  • Length of each tape: 18 inches (45.72 centimeters)
  • No plain tapes, NOR any tapes from the Dollar store, Target One-Spot, Studio G, etc. I will, however, allow Scotch Expressions washi tapes as well as any of the new colorful tapes now your local craft stores.
  • Please include your name and swap-bot ID inside the envelope.
  • Please also decorate your mailing envelopes with what else? Washi tapes! On the front! :)
  • Lastly, have fun!

Anyone can join as long as you follow the rules on the group home page.

How many times round is 18 inches?

Personally, I wrap 9 times around a standard USA playing card. It's a little extra, but that's just me. :)

Cool thanks. When it states no tapes from Dollar store etc, what's a rough price guide so I can compare to UK stores, as I usually pay £1 a roll, would these be acceptable for this swap:
Paperchase washi tape ?
As I have a lot of the boxes of 8.

Any of those will be fine @piratejimbob87 :)
