National Haiku Poetry Day 2019 is on Wednesday, April 17, 2019:

A Haiku is an ancient form of Japanese poetry, which consists of 3 lines with the syllable structure 5-7-5. Haikus typically revolve around nature, the passing of seasons, or ephemeral beauty. Those are the basics about Haikus you may use any subject you want but please follow the 5-7-5 syllable format.

First you will pick out any nice notecard you have it can be handmade or store bought. In it you will write a haiku for your partner.

You will then decorate the outside of your envelope as well. It can be stampings washi tape stickers etc...Something simple!

Have fun ladies!
